  1. No prob. I'm sure there are ways for you to order from a dealership state side and pay them to ship it to you. I think the key to gmpartsdirect is that if the price looks way too cheap, it's probably not the right part. That or someone did as mentioned in a previous post and returned their stock wheel in place of the heated which in turn got sold to me and I'm the one who got shafted.
  2. What part of Canada are you in? I'll be in Toronto in the next few days. Bet we could work something out, that is if you are in Toronto.
  3. Well I can confirm the part number from my parts dept. from my local dealership too. Not sure what happened to my original order from gmpartsdirect but obviously they messed up. Haven't had the chance to further pursue them on this issue and probably won't since my uncle is wanting to purchase the non heated wheel off me. Here's a pic of the right wheel
  4. Well still no luck from gmpartsdirect but I did go to my local dealership and got the parts department to verify that it is a black, non-wood, heated wheel... so I ordered one, $315ish. Probably a gamble since I still need to get the wrong wheel returned.
  5. Ok I stand corrected. Looks like I paid $185.40 which is probably too cheap for the heated wheel? The invoice shows the part number that showed up at my door which oddly was not the heated wheel. Wonder how I'm going to argue this. I don't mind paying the difference if there is any but I'm hoping they will take this non heated back or exchange for the heated and more so find the right wheel to sell me. Wonder if this part number use to be a non heated wheel?! Doesn't seem right but I just don't understand how the box unopened showing the heated wheel part number, ended up being the wrong part. I'll update as I find out more after I contact them.
  6. Ok without checking that sounds about right. I will get back on contact with gmpartsdirect and escalate my issue.
  7. That is awesome news! I was the one that (as of now) was shipped the wrong part from gmpartsdirect.com. Do mind helping me out and posting up pics like I did. I'd love to make them exchange this non-heated wheel for the correct part. I've got this clock spring and ssconnector sitting here with otherwise no purpose. Also so I can verify, what range would you think I should have paid? This may help me verify I got the wrong part. When I get a chance I'll find out what I did actually pay gmpartsdirect.com for that part number. Thanks again for following up!
  8. Awesome! Post up with pics. I'm sure you will have better luck than I did. I've been on a downward spiral with luck these days. Lol
  9. Btw, anyone looking for a clock spring that is needed in conjunction with the heated wheel, I got a brand new, never used, still in the box, that I'll sell with the pigtail connector from ssconnectors. $100 shipped via USPS ground sound fair? Let me know or PM me. Pics of it are in my previous post. (about 5 posts or so ago.)
  10. I gave up and settle for the non heated wheel. I still gained all the A/V controls and a new wheel
  11. I hope I was shipped the wrong part. Maybe someone would be willing to share the vin of an actual vehicle fitted with this non wood heated ebony steering wheel for us to reference.
  12. Please verify part numbers before posting and before ordering. Let me be the example of what can happen if you order without checking. Purchased from gmpartsdirect.com: Part No. 20998064, thinking it would be an ebony and titanium non-wood steering wheel from a Chevy Suburban. Received a non-heated wheel as shown. I still need to verify if there was a mistake made and where. But ultimately I will take the responsibility of not double checking the part number before I ordered. Assuming the correct information regarding part numbers that were posted is my mistake so please learn from me. I will proceed to request for an exchange or return since gmpartsdirect.com states no returns on special orders. I have yet to find a good GM part number for an ebony non-wood heated steering wheel although I do believe it is out there. On a more positive note, I did receive the correct coil clock spring for the heated wheel which was part number: 25966964. Same for the pigtail connector to hard wire to the vehicle purchased from ssconnectors.com part number: 60296271(ssconnectors part number).
