  1. Found a lawyer and sent the dealership and GM a final attempt to fix letter on my 2014 Sierra. Heard back from GM and they are setting it up with the dealership that I purchased it from. They could not fix it the first three times so I doubt anything will change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Go here and file a complaint. who else is worth complaining to? https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/index.xhtml
  3. Tell us more about this! Has he fixed a truck with the vibration by changing axels? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Took mine in for a recall check today and drove a new 2014 double cab they loaned me straight off the lot. Same shake as mine and maybe a little worse. Dealership said they had a list of 15 trucks waiting for a fix. I bet it's really more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I notice when taking off some what easy that the engine shifts really early like 2000 rpm at each shift and feels like it bogs down and has no power after each shift. I think it's a gas mileage programming that is doing this. Maybe I'm just used to the older 5 speed transmission that shifted smooth and ran thru the gears a little more. 6. Make sure you call GM corporate and open up a case with them. Let's get everyone's problem on record with them. I did this last week. Got a call from the dealership service manager a day later and admitted their is a problem. Said they have been instructed to not do anything else as GM engineers are working on it and when there is a fix they will do it. Said she had a list of trucks with this problem waiting on a fix. At least they admitted to the problem this time and not tell me it's operating as normal. Now fix it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So I get the feeling this will be one of those issues that they never admit to or find a fix for. Has anyone successfully lemon lawed one of the new trucks due to just the shake and vibration? class action suite we could all start to get this taken care of? I have driven it for almost 2 months and 2000 miles and it drives me crazy on the interstate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. At least your dealership is trying something. Only thing I get is the GM engineers are working on it and when they find a fix we will fix it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Local stealership advised to have the tires road force balanced and the tires must be below 15#. This is not the GMC dealership I bought it from but a contact at a local Chevy Dealership. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Don't waste your time with the GM help here. After not calling me twice as promised and having to hunt them down they told me that the dealership said it was normal and that they stand by the dealers! End of story nothing more they were going to do. So the help is all for show Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. No mine was built in 2/14 and has the shake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Spoke with GMC chat tonight about my shake issue. They said they spoke to the dealership and that it was normal for this vehicle! I said your telling me the bad shaking like it has a bad wheel is normal? They said yes. What a freaking joke. Guess I'm back to the dealership to fix it or lemon law it. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. So what's the leading theory on the shake. Torque converter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. They have to have some idea of what this problem is and how to fix it. Stick a few engineers on the problem for a few days and let them get to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Had 1.5 hours of highway drive time home today. Averaged 20 MPG for the last 50 miles. Or at least that's what the truck was showing. Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.2 70-75 mph, 55 degrees, pretty much flat interstate roads on I-10. I'm pretty impressed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 14 SLT Crew Cab 4x4 6.2 Noticed the shake at highway speeds when I test drove it. Service told me to drive it for a few hundred miles as they felt it had flat spots that would wear out. Took it in today for the first time with 600 miles on the tires and it still has the same shake. At first they told me all the wheels balanced fine and they felt no shake. I took the tech for a ride but could only manage to get a small shake out of it. He felt it but did not think it was to bad. Got back to the dealership and the service manager said yes there is a problem but GM has yet to figure it out and to just keep driving it. Of course on the 1.5 hour ride home it was shaking like crazy!! 70-85 seems to be the shake sweet spot. Slight throttle like going up a slight hill and warm tires is the only things I feel are the same each time it shakes. Sucks we have to deal with this on a new 50K truck. It would drive me crazy to take it on a long interstate trip right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I want to hear details! It's not taken care of if they only gave you a loner!
  18. I have what sounds like the same issue. Felt it on test drive and was told to drive it and it would be ok as it is flat spots in the tires from shipping. Had it for five days and 300 miles and nothing has changed. Dealership is 1.5 hours away from me so I have not made the return trip for them to check it out. I have the 4x4 crew cab with 6.2 and 20"
