  1. Yeah, the difference in total cost with the level kit between the 275 and 285 is only $800, but still. Just seeing what I could get away with if I didn't do the level lift. I do agree though, it would probably look best to just do it.
  2. I have a question about tires. I was trying to look back through the posts, but there are so many, ha. I just decided to ask: I have a '14 CrewCab LT. I want to put new 20" wheels but not sure which tires to go with. The 275/55R20 is pretty much stock but I was told to go with 285/55R20, but would require me to put the front lift level kit. Then I saw the 275/65R20. Those would also require the front lift, correct? I'm just not sure which route to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..!
  3. Well that's awesome for you, but really pathetic Chevy wont just fix this across the board and stop trying to fight it. Humm...
  4. I took mine in to get an oil change. I mentioned how these do not light up, thinking they wouldn't know anything about it (small dealership). Anyway, the manager didn't have a clue, but said he'd talk to the guy in Service to see what they can do. Well he called me today, said there was a long note put out by Chevy that they wont fix it, and basically to bad. I guess its not a big deal, but I wish they would have told me all this prior to me buying it. O'well..
  5. Thanks..! I will for sure check out those LED's. Also, sounds easy enough for the plasti dip. Is the red the actual Victory Red of their trucks. That's what I have, so didn't want to use a red that is slightly off. Might have to go with Black.
  6. I've defiantly wanted to swap out my light for LED's. Do you happen to have a link to what you used? I do also want to install the foot lighting. How does the Plasti dipped stuff work? I don't know anything about it, but see a lot of people doing it. Its just a spray paint, right? Did you remove the emblems, or just tape it up? Thanks..!!
  7. Looks great. I also noticed you did the inside trim around your fog lights. I have very little knowledge of the "plasti-dip" stuff. Could you provide a link to what you bought by chance? Did you take the parts off the truck, or just taped them off? Thanks again and keep up the awesome work!
  8. Added a black bug deflector last night. Sorry no pictures, but loving the look of it. Living down county roads caused a lot of windshield bug splatter, hopefully this will cut that down a little.
  9. How easy or not is it to replace the fog lights with these LED's? I've never done any of that, is it a simple plug and play? Price looks good from what little I know about them. Also love the LED drl!
  10. Thanks, gm4yrs. You really go all out protecting and locking everything up. I guess I don't blame you, and all of those should be cheap enough to do. I don't know anything about the pop-n-lock tailgate, so I need to look into that. I was considering a small sub, 8 or 10" at most.
  11. Thanks Joe, exactly what I'm looking for. That touched on a lot that I've seen and didn't think about in my post. Quick cheap things are always nice. For sure going to paint my bowties. Also want to get that Stubby antenna. I really would like to find more info on the tuners. More HP and MPG are always great. Can you suggest something, a link? I did think of the K&N but have never done that so I need to research it. Also considering the level kit. Humm..
  12. I've only had my truck for 2 weeks now, and its already killing me to add some things to it. I've looked through the mods forum and there is a ton of things people are doing, but I thought I'd ask here, as a way to get a good rundown list. What would you recommend as some good mods or upgrades I should look into doing soon? Be it body (interior/exterior), under the hood, electronic, etc. I had step bars, molded splash guards and tint added on by the dealership before buying it. I've also already got in a bug deflector that I'm putting on this weekend. Also thinking of ordering the driver side pillar handle, only $45 and easy to install. Will eventually add a spray in bed liner. What else? Thanks everyone...!! -Wes
