  1. Yes sir, I didn't know that I had that on my dash, just got the truck a couple weeks ago. I just went through the menu and activated it and now it shows up. Someone mentioned that on another forum. Learn something new everyday!!
  2. Hello everyone. As title says, looking to add AutoMeter Ultra-Lite Digital Series Gauges 6549 to my 2017 Silverado 2 wheel drive with the 6 speed trans. What else would I need to hook up the sender in the trans if anything? And as far as gauge pods go, all I seem to find is the one that goes on top of the steering column. I see that they have the ones that integrate into where the 4x4 switch is but since I do not have 4x4 I cannot find one that works for that. If there is another option for gauage pod please let me know. I have the crab handle on the A pillar and want to keep that so I cannot do a A pillar pod because I cannot find one with the handle and a pod. Thanks
  3. I am looking to get one of the above. Would like to know which ones are good. Is there an all in 1 kinda deal? Have been looking into the XTool D7 or D8. Looking to: Disable AFM DOD Be able to program FOBs etc Turn seat belt warnings off, use the truck on a farm and drive from pasture to pasture. Don't feel like hearing the warning Lighting options And whatever cool things that can be done. What do ya'll use and what is good? Thanks
  4. Thanks for the reply. I know some people with the Skar's and even though they are not bad, they just dont compare to what I am used to. The JLw7ae3s spoiled me! Thanks again
  5. Thank you, I did look into that already. I just dont think Ill be happy with them. For now I am going to just install the JLw7ae3 in there and in the meantime figure something else out. Thank you again.
  6. Im getting ready to install a SQ system in my 2017 Silverado double cab. Usually in the plugs that go into the cab and the doors there will be a larger hole that you can drill out a tad to pass wires through. Looking at videos all the holes look tiny. Am I not thinking of something easier? I do not like using the small stock speaker wires. Thanks so much all.
  7. So I just picked up the 2017 Silverado double cab. I had a system in another car that now I want to put into the truck. Here is the problem, I am a SPL freak and the last car I had JL 12W7AE subs in a ported box. Needless to say I cannot put them in the truck without having to remove the rear seat. Which is not an option unfortunately. For the people who know those subs I have and the output they put out, what are my other options that can come close to those subs? I have been looking and have not found anything good. I do not want to put a custom box in the bed and vent it through the cab because I need all the bed room, and do not want to cut into the sheet metal of the cab. Ported box a must as I love the low frequencies Thanks
