  1. i can't order online because i already have the I-Dash and i don't want to buy another. i just want the tuner part.
  2. Just my luck, Banks is closed today for the holiday. have to wait till tomorrow to order mine.
  3. i already have the i-dash so all i need is the tuner, for the 2019 its $479 so i hope it's the same for the 2020. they don't have the exhaust or intake yet, but i was told with the 2019 they got like 50 hp and 75 more foot lbs with both mods added to the derringer. if that's consistent on the 2020 model, i would guess that would make over 100 hp and 200 ft lbs of torque. I can guarantee you'll feel that! i might even be able to burn rubber at 6,200 feet elevation. we do mods here just to attain sealevel performance.
  4. It’s available! I’ll get mine ordered in the morning! Oh shit! I just realized the 2020 gets 81hp and 144 ft lbs of torque verses the 61 and 112 in the 2019 model! Sweet! https://www.bankspower.com/?msclkid=8a23876483171d8e06f5d923ded1b03a Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. spoke to Chuck my sales rep at Banks today and asked when the Derringer will be released for the 2020. he told me it should be within a week or 2! no word on exhaust or intake yet. but suggested i check regularly on their website for 2020 to show up in the model search. as soon as it is launched you will see the products showing up there. he said there will be plenty of online info once released. i would imagine this forum will be one of the first to announce it
  6. Money was no object for me, I wanted all the bells and whistles and this is not my daily just for pulling the camper+boat and snow weather duty. I wanted he fancy truck so when we go on trips and vacation we can ride in style with the tow vehicle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. those should be about an inch more stick out than the +18 and pretty sure they will rub without a lift or modification. let us know how they fit and post plenty of pics!
  8. so it turns out FUEL will be making the bottom wheel in a 22x10x+13 offset they aren't available yet for a couple more months. but a 10" wide wheel with +13 has a 6.09 backspace! the factory wheel is 6.3" so this is great news! this means the aftermarket wheel will tuck under the truck with just 1/4 inch to spare from factory. i believe the 22" wheel will place the sidewall 1" higher from the only obstruction i see which is the upper ball joint. at present the ball joint sits about 1" or so higher then the factory rim edge, meaning where the factory tire bulges out theres still about 3/4" before it would rub the tire. the new wheels will move the bulge of the sidewall above this location so i don't see anything that might rub on the inside. this means the outer sidewall of the tire will be about 1.75 inches farther poke out that factory. with the tire size i picked i believe the truck will not need any modification to clear these tires. unfortunately have to wait for them to become available before i can try it.
  9. Ok update I now have 3500 miles on my truck I am the original poster of this thread. My truck is warm and in the garage idling while I add some DEF and I think the knocking has gotten better. I have not changed the oil or anything. Just driving it. So I took another video while in the garage to compare with the original. Here’s the original I don’t think I’m going to worry about it and I’ll see how it sounds after my first oil change Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That is interesting I’ve been wondering if 30 PSI is really sufficient oil pressure for this engine at normal driving speed. I suspect a diesel requires less pressure because I think the rod and crank journals are wider than gas engines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Is there any way you can talk to banks and get me on the Beta program? Or can you get a more firm date that isn’t 6 months from now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Wtf! I just messaged banks on Facebook last week they said expect a few more weeks! Did they say why? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yep no 22” option and all their backspacing is 4.75” I need to be 5-5.5 to even get close to the factory fitment
  14. truck with these wheels and tires will be exactly the same ride height, when you go up in wheel size you down down in aspect ratio, less tire, and more wheel same tire diameter, same height.
  15. the problem is that rim doesn't show any specs offset, back spacing or sizes no prices either. if you saw one with anything probably was last years model
  16. no need to unbox and go through all that, how much would you want for them? send me a pm
  17. the boards, or if you know what they look like i've never seen the ones off the AT-4
  18. yes i have a 60" by 60" roll of tail light tinted vinyl, the really dark stuff. its like a clear bra product. ill be doing the upper and lower grill with that along with the running boards. i am a fan of "black chrome" and ideally the light smoke overlaid on chrome makes it look pretty sweet, but unless you could cover the entire grille that way i don't know how it would look. so i am going to try the dark stuff (the roll was only $36.00 from amazon) so ill see how black it looks on the grille, and it should resist abrasion better than the vinyl wrap. i think the rubber treads on the running boards will pop off to make the install cleaner, ill have to see otherwise i think i can trim around them. also have some light smoke ill do the side markers in as well as an outline of the headlights. basically the sides and the C shaped running lights leaving the headlights clear. probably do the tails in light smoke as well. ill be getting the Banks Exhaust in black. the wheels are going to be 22x10 wrapped in Nitto terra grappler G2 exact same height as stock the tire size will be 285/55/22 E rated 10 ply tires. so basically about 2 inches wider than stock, i am still searching for the right wheel, i want to be positive offset, about 5 inches backspacing or more to keep them tucked under the truck. should look pretty sick. having a hard time deciding between these wheels
  19. did you try stepping on the brake and turning off the parking brake? it wont release unless your foot is on the foot brake
  20. A couple reasons, not sure on the 2500 but the 1500 has a lift kit which is not friendly for loading dirt bikes and towing a 5th wheel. 2 I like a little chrome on the grille, not too much. 3 I like the Denali name sounds a little more upper class. The chrome is not that hard to hide /dial back but a lot harder to add if you want some but not too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. ok so i finally got both sides done. what do you guys think? next wheels and need to do something with the chrome step, i don't know if i want to black it out or put some other kind of step on it.
  22. i ordered my i-dash last week, i should have it monday. the tech i spoke to was a lot nicer than the last one i talked to. he took all my info so when the new mod parts are available he can look up my acct and send me exactly what i need to do the derringer, exhaust and air filter.
  23. ill post pics later, but i started my project of blacking out the god awful chrome accents on my Denali. i blacked out the chrome on the mirrors, door handles and trim around the windows with 3m vinyl wrap. i've only done the passenger side so far. i plan to do the upper part of the hood and the lower and side pieces around the grille. i am not going to black out the entire grille it would be too difficult anyway. but so far i think it looks pretty good. i thought i would post this here in case anyone is interested, you can follow my thread. for about 20 bucks in vinyl wrap its inexpensive enough that if i don,t like it, it's easy to remove. once i get some wheels to go with it, i think it will look pretty damn nice. i installed my PUTCO LED light bar under the tail gate today also.
  24. oh god please dont tell me this is the same problem i have in my 2017 CTS-V if this is the case the problem started with IOS 13.x the nav locks up and the system reboots. try this, turn off your bluetooth on your i-phone see if it boots up ok. then try turning bluetooth on. take a quick drive. if its the same issue we cadillac owners are having then i highly recommend nobody do this upgrade until i fix is out! the only way i can use my system in the caddy is over the USB connection and carplay. otherwise the systrem reboots and goes bonkers. also my caddy display looks just like that, the temp reading goes to - - and sometimes it reads in C verses F
