  1. just curious where the info comes from? i couldnt find it on gm parts direct. not questioning you, just the builds. it just seems dumb for GM to have the wiring coming out of the dash different just based on the center console. on my old CTS you could take a radio out of the 2003 ts with a built in OBD2 scanner and plug it into a 04-07 and have a scanner. same with a few other features, all the main wiring harnesses were the same just blocked off. even on my very old 1990 civic, it didnt come with a clock but pop off the plastic cover and the factory clock would just plug in (mind you it was probably just a positive and negative wire.) can anyone give a breakdown of what inputs/plugs there are on the ones factory equip with the console and those factory equip with the seat? i just went to check on my truck and they haven't done the box liner yet so i wont get it till thursday.
  2. that or there is another adapter harness. i should be able to get into the GM manuals sometime this week. i plan on doing this mod, i really wanted the center console but im not into splicing wires on a truck that im taking delivery of tomorrow.
  3. does anyone have the GM tech wiring diagrams and service manual? i really dont think GM has a different wiring harness in each build based on just a jump seat or center console. i bet the plug is under the carpet or tucked under the dash somewhere.
  4. any update on the wiring? ide like to do this but i dont want to loose features. is there a OEM harness i can also buy to plug in somewhere to make it all work?
