  1. Have you seen any updates on this?
  2. So I also put a Trailboss kit on my truck a few weeks ago and thought that it fixed the issue with the new axles... I noticed just yesterday that I can hear the noise again BUT it is nowhere near as bad as it was. I don't know what the hell the deal is with this noise but GM needs to figure out a fix.
  3. when did you first file your buyback claim?
  4. I sent Rough Country a message asking the same thing and they told me that the setup is different.... which I thought they were the same too.
  5. share the link... I cant find it
  6. I hope they are still working on a fix
  7. I couldn’t agree more. After driving a Trailboss ( Trailboss number 2) for 3,000 miles and it not doing it, it leads me to believe that it could be fixed. I will give an update after putting more miles on it. I have yet to see anyone on this thread that have a Trailboss and have this issue
  8. So I hope I’m not speaking too soon but I think mine is fixed... I have been driving a Trailboss while my truck has been in the shop.... no jingle whatsoever. I decided to put the Trailboss lift kit on my truck ( which includes different axles)... I drove my truck 60 miles yesterday and I never heard the jingle.
  9. sounds consistent.... I had my diff changed in December and it fixed it for about the same amount of time
  10. Did the jingle noise come back?
  11. Ben, Are you saying you have or havent seen several people claiming issues with installing this kit? I purchased it and I am concerned about the ball joints if I install
  12. Although my 2014 Silverado was no trouble at all, I will have to say that I will NEVER buy a first year production vehicle again... not singling GM out because ALL manufacturers have issues. If my 2017 Silverado had rear air, I would've kept it.
  13. They make it sound like there will never be a fix for it?
  14. The only way I know is in the door jam or calling dealer. I’m convinced that most of the trucks having this issue have a build date of 01/19 and earlier. All trucks I’ve driven 02/19 or newer haven’t done it from my experience
  15. What is your build date on your truck?
  16. Are you experiencing this issue? Also, what is your build date on your truck?
  17. This pisses me off. Did they say that they are still working on a fix and then they would fix it?
  18. Just from a quick observation, it looks like most of everyone that is having this problem has either an RST, LTZ, LT (non TB), or High Country... I haven't seen any TrailBoss with the issue... I wonder if the 2 inch lift that comes on the TB (comes with different Axles) would cure the issue.
  19. Any update on the dealership fixing yours for this issue? If so, what did they do to fix it?
  20. New dude, where did you find this info?
  21. I would like to know everyone's build date... you can find it on a gray sticker when you open the driver door. I would like to think that most of the trucks that are having this issue have a build date from 2/2019 and earlier... reason I believe this is because I own a truck built in 08/2018 and have been driving a loaner truck that was built in 04/2019 that isn't making this noise.
  22. That's understandable. I am not going to be a happy camper if my new Silverado has the same issue.
