  1. I agree. I have no complaints over the dealership. They have bent over backwards for me. When GM came back saying they need to replace the exhaust and the brakes, I was 100% certain that wasn't going to fix the issue. I've told them several times that it quits doing it in 4WD or AUTO so how could GM possibly think it's the exhaust or brakes... Is there not an easier way to fix this issue without having to replace to whole differential?
  2. I appreciate your response. It makes sense. I just wished I saw Limelight's video so I could show them before GM started replacing all of these parts
  3. I have had my truck for 8 months and have had 5 major components replaced to figure out this noise... Axle, Differential, Exhaust, Brakes, and then Transfer-case (not in any order). The only thing that fixed it was the replacement of the transfer-case... It only fixed it for about 1,000 miles and the noise returned. I am fed up with it and am in the middle of GM buying my truck back. I am wondering if the build date has anything to do with it. My truck was built in September 2018. I've driven several other 2019's as a loaner vehicle which did not make the noise.
  4. I had the lift in my possession and was going to put it on but I was having some warranty trouble with my 4WD drive terrain and I was worried it would make it worse by putting it on so I returned it
  5. They replaced my Differential and transfer case a few months back and I thought it helped but now I am hearing it again. I don't know what the deal is. I guess I am just going to have to live with it. Give an update after they replace your differential.
  6. Can you tell me the brand wheels these are?
  7. Man.... I don't blame you. That's not quite what I am experiencing but mine seems to have a, behind the scenes, vibration that seems to come and go every 4 seconds when I am at highway speeds. I am hoping it's the tires but the thing that makes me think otherwise is I drove another 2019 for a couple of days and it seemed to have the same vibration noise.
  8. Can you elaborate on the vibration you were experiencing? I am wondering if I am experiencing the same thing or if it is just my tires... Nitto Trailgrapplers( I've owned 3 sets of Nitto's in the past and never had this happen)
  9. So I have 4400 miles on my Silverado... early on, I noticed a faint grinding noise in 2wd while traveling down the road. It quits doing it when I put it in 4wd auto. I want to know if anyone else has noticed this noise... I have found that that it is coming from the transfer case.... dealership has heard it and they replaced it and after driving it another 1000 miles, the noise came back. My dads Silverado makes the same noise. Ive tried to ignore the sound but I can’t.
  10. Am I new to 4X4? That is a no. I’ve owned more than I can count. Btw, your rear end isn’t locked when you are in auto 4WD. It locks when it senses slipping. Will do the same thing in 2WD
  11. Curious to know if any of you always keep your truck in 4wd auto. If so, does it hurt andything and does it effect MPG?
  12. It has never done this until this week. I have about 4K miles on It
  13. Here is a video of the noise ADDB3EFA-A4D9-4F75-891A-66E35F29428F.MOV
  14. Has anyone else heard a loud clunk ( occasionally) when decelerating? It happens right before I come to a complete stop. I believe it happens when the transmission goes into first gear
  15. I've noticed mine does the same thing at cold start but it seems to go away after about 30 seconds. I was thinking about taking it in to the dealer but from what I've read, it's normal
  16. I am looking for a good bolt on lift... 3-4 inches. I was wondering if anyone has used Readylift and what their experience is. https://www.readylift.com/4-0-sst-lift-kit-gm-1500-2wd-4wd-2019.html
  17. I’ve heard that cold air intakes improve mpg. Is this true?
  18. Interesting. Didn't know anything like this existed. Thanks for the link. I am just curious how it would fit on the bumpers that have sensors.
  19. Where would you go to get it wrapped?
  20. I also purchased an LTZ over the highcounty for two reasons... I don’t like the interior options and they don’t offer the highcountry in Shadow Gray. I have been wanting to get rid of that chrome bumper on mine as well. I got a quote from a local shop that does truck conversions to paint match my bumpers but I’m also wondering how it would hold up. They are a pretty well known company “ SCA” ( Southern Comfort) and they paint a lot of their chrome bumpers to paint match the truck.
  21. I think I found the conversion package from American Luxury Coach
  22. Any idea of what brand these fender flares are? I looked on lingenfelter website and couldn’t find them. Love them
  23. I think the main motive of the design was to create a step for easy access. After testing, they found that it could be marketed for other uses as well.... such as a load stop. I am not disagreeing with you that they could've easily added a lock but I do not think it is a gimmick at all. I think it was a great idea as far as a step is concerned. First year of production... they will get it right.
