If anyone in the SoCal region wants an OEM one I am selling mine. First $150 takes it and I'll even help you install it (takes 5 mins). PM me. Grey

Trade in prices? 14/15 models
Greystoke replied to jamin87ss's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
I just sold my '15 Sierra Z71 4x4 Crew with 9k miles and MSRP of $51.5k back to a Chevy dealer for $39k. Luckily I had bought it for $37k four months ago due to dealer concession and 20% off MSRP. Also helps to register in Oregon so no sales tax. My two year old Tundra 1794 4x4 had 40k miles on it and went from $49.8k MSRP to $38k trade in. Much better retained value than the GM product. value of stock Rancho off-road shocks?
Greystoke replied to crushNchowda's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
The lack of "PM sent" responses is probably a good indication of their value. -

Need tailgate netting or alternative
Greystoke replied to Hult's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Most people who plow professionally or over large areas have some type of rock and salt dispenser that sits in the bed. This is the only reason I can think of to need a mesh tailgate. -
2016 5.3 V8 with 8 Speed loses 1 MPG
Greystoke replied to raym0016's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
GM's official reasoning for the MPG loss: "the eight-speed is currently offered only on the higher trim level trucks, those trucks have heavier weights than the more basic models equipped with the 5.3L V-8 and six-speed transmission." http://www.trucktrend.com/news/1510-2016-chevy-silverado-5-3l-with-eight-speed-gets-1-mpg-less-than-six-sp/ -
Mud flaps and flender flares
Greystoke replied to towdog333's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
You will probably need the flat style mudflaps which consist of a large piece of rubber material and some type of weight to keep them vertical.
