  1. Apologies in advance if this is already covered in other threads. My Silverado is my extra vehicle, so it gets minor use but gets worked when I use it. It has 63k miles and has been a solid vehicle since I bought new. In the heat of last summer the A/C failed occasionally. If I turned the A/C on while at highway speeds it worked fine. If thectruck had been sitting and I started to drive with A/C on, the dash voltage meter would take a dive below the "acceptable" range and the A/C would blow hot air. If I turned the A/C off and drove a bit, then turned the A/C on while at speed the volt meter would drop a little but the A/C would slowly get colder and then work fine. If the A/C was already on and working properly, and I idled the truck for an extended period the A/C had no issues blowing cold... I have done the A pillar ground (both sides) cleanup and also cleaned the main battery ground where it attaches to the cab and engine. Truck has an AGM battery that is fairly new. A/C is fully charged and alternator is working fine. Any experience with this issue? Thoughts??
