+1 on the auto reverse - but in channel look so much cleaner- almost factory like and the only way it should be. So nice to be able to crack the windows down for fresh air on the highway or to let out the hot air when parked.
Which cover are you entering to win? 14 on 1500 Silverado Crew Cab 5' 8" box Tell us why the LOMAX cover is perfect for your truck? Fit and finish - designed to be a direct fit and not universal What features are most important to you when buying a tonneau cover, why? Cleanliness of fit, ease of installation, added security and keeping contents out of sight and out of the weather Do you have a tonneau cover on your truck? If so, which cover is it? Why are you looking for a change? At present I have a Lund soft cover roll up. Dont like the fact that it is easily cut for entrance, the Velcro fastening of the sides isnt secure either and it is always ballooning in the wind and sags in the sun. What do you use your truck for? Personal vehicle mainly used for pulling our camping trailer and as an everyday driver and go to work truck.
Yes I accessorize my truck and if I am spendimg money and time I want the beat available.product so I am not repairing or replacing it after a short while. I have bought lower priced products in the past and have regretted my choice - the bad taste of a sweet price lingers long after. We all at one time.or another have purchased something based purely on how it lools to dress up kur ride without thought to function.
crinteastwood replied to Gorehamj's topic in The NewsroomHomelink is a nice feature that I miss when its not there but you think that GM could come up with a grade 1 fix and have it switch off when the truck is in the off mode. If my truck is parked outside my garage overnight, all the thieves have to do is gain entry to the cab and its clear sailing into my garage after that. For that matter I dont even program it anymore until I can track down the power wire up to the link and tap into it with a hidden switch or a relay to cut the power
crinteastwood replied to dsmmace's topic in 1999-2013 Silverado & Sierra 1500Mine were leaking on my 13 1500 4x4 with just under 20000 km on the clock. Just got off the phone with Gm and they told me they are covered under factory warranty until Oct 2016. Money saved but more time spent in the waiting area at the dealership, but its better than paying.
