  1. FWIW - I purchased a 2015i Yukon XL SLT with a tow package, 18" wheels, cross bars, no sunroof, and I've had no issues. I now have 5,000 miles on it and everything seems fine. I was aware of this issue before I bought it and was very nervous about purchasing the vehicle but my 2002 Suburban was totaled and I needed a replacement. I test drove the vehicle I bought three times on three different days because I thought I was feeling the pressure, but everyone else I brought in the vehicle didn't notice anything.. For the first two weeks of ownership I kept listening but eventually I gained confidence and everything has been great. I watch this post because I'm curious what the issue is and I want to know what solution GM comes up with to solve the problem in case my Yukon develops the issue down the road. Good luck.
  2. My 2015 Yukon XL I ordered should be in next week. After reading this, I will be taking it on an extensive test drive before I sign any papers. The only thing that worries me is some people are experiencing it after a few weeks of ownership. During my test drive I want to do my best to try and hear the noise if it is present. In order to have the highest probability of replicating the sound, I should drive around 40 mph and what else, windows up or down, ac on or off, radio on or off? I ordered a SLT with 18" wheels, max trailering package, navi, and cross bars. Thanks
