  1. According to the dealer, this ended up being the actuator on the front diff..
  2. I did contact you, I gave you all the information you asked for, nothing became of it...
  3. The dealership I went to several times regardingthis has pretty much brushed me off over this. It's very frustrating on it's own, let alone while very important calls with my neurologist, back surgeon, work and so on...
  4. I'm trying to find the wiring diagram to the connector that plugs onto the actuator at the front diff. I keep finding older models. This is how I searched it. wiring diagram for 2023 chevy silverado 1500 front 4wd 4 wire axle actuator
  5. When I have a chance to inspect the wiring for damage or the sort, I'll leave more information. I'm wondering if it was from snow and or ice build up. We've been getting hit pretty hard here in Michigan with both over the last week and a half. We've seen a low as -28°, and with the highest travel to and from work it is possible that it built up. I park it in my garage every night, I have the heat set to 50° during the winter.
  6. I scanned every module in the truck this is what it started as. After deleting the codes, only one remains C118D-13.
  7. That is the plan when I get home.
  8. Truck is a 2023 LTZ 6.2 SBCC. I was driving down the highway at about 45-50mph (extremely bad conditions here in Michigan currently) , I took the truck out of Auto back into 2H. I got a service 4wd message. I drove home in 2H. Parked the truck in my driveway and looked the issue up on the net. It said it may need to be re-programmed, frozen parts, broken parts. I tried to drive forward, the e- brake was locked on and still had the service 4wd message. I finally was able to get into my garage while brakes still locked. I let it warm up, the brake issue went away. I still do not have 4wd. Any ideas?
  9. Also, what mirrors did you go with?
  10. Great write up. Do the new mirrors have auto tint? I went through a similar ordeal on my 2017 LTZ but added the cameras because it was not an option back then.
  11. I should have clarified that I want to keep all features that I currently have. Thanks.
  12. I have a 2023 Silverado 6.2 CCSB LTZ. The current mirrors have cameras, heat, puddle lights, back side light, auto tint, power fold, blind spot notification, temp sensor. Does anyone make a dependable full size tow mirror with the same features that will bolt on and function correctly without any programming to the vehicle? If not, what is the closest I can get? Thanks.
  13. I'm trying to find a schematic that shows wherethe common ground is. And, unfortunately yes, my '23 is under that recall for the motor.
  14. I was driving down the road, the truck started to stutter , shake , and then stall out. Sometimes it will run on its own (not very well) for a few seconds, sometimes it is very hard to start. With the codes I have and knowledge of the engine, I started to diagnose the issue. So far I have replaced the following; High pressure fuel pump and fuel line that goes to the fuel rail Intake manifold gaskets to the heads MAP sensor I pulled the valve covers to check that the rockers were still moving as should, they do, so with that I believe the lifters are still good I checked the in line fuel pressure from the tank, it is bouncing between 57-68, that is normal. I have the following codes P0106 MAP Stored P0068 Throttle Body Air Flow Performance Permanent P0097 IAT Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage Permanent Mis-Fire on cylinder 8 I pulled all four O2 sensors to see if the CAT's were plugged, no better. I wasn't able to get my scope in there to see if the CAT's are plugged, I'll probably pull the "Y" pipe to see directly into the CAT's. The wiring for the MAP, MAF test out correctly for function on my meter. I even pulled the MAF with the harness connected and pulled a vacuum, it worked correctly. I am thinking of swapping the TB's between my '23 and my '17 to see if anything changes. I may have forgot some other things I have either checked or done. Tonight, I pulled the power from the battery to see if that helps at all. I'll install them tomorrow morning and see what comes. I am at a loss so far, and would appreciate any good help.
  15. While trying to winch up a 2013 Malibu onto my trailer, the power to the winch kept cutting out and then come back on. The truck was running the whole time. It was like it was reaching a lowpoint and had to build backup. My '17 wired the same way and I do not remember having this issue. Here is how the truck is wired: From the battery I have a heavy duty on/off switch like we use at the drag strip. Negative to the battery. From the o/o switch the power and ground wires run to the back of it the truck where have a connector for the winch on the trailer. All of the wire is 0/2g.
  16. They did some updates to the radio and couple of times. Then replaced the radio module, still same issue.
  17. 5.) I still have a brief 1 second outage of sound at rare times but the audio comes right back on and i'm not concerned about that. It ONLY happened when I was connected via WiFi and also occurred in the loaner truck so it just seems to be another GM bug that needs to be worked out eventually. this best describes my issue, but when this happens it won't reset unless I shut the truck off. At the same time out cuts out, my channel selector on the back side of the steering wheel on the left side fails to work at the same time. It also resets when the radio does. So, they are definitely are related.
  18. I'm still trying to get mine fixed. I agree with most of what you have said.
  19. Recall? I did an update a couple months ago.
  20. Has anyone ever used this? Is this legit or a scam?
  21. That's a good theory. If that was to be true, it would not explain the steering wheel controls issue. But, it does make sense. Thanks.
  22. Does anyone know the fix for the sound cutting out on the radio and blue tooth? It is intermittent, for a second or so. The power is fine, it does not cut out. Also, when this happens, the left hand steering wheel controls for the radio stations stops working as well. I have been to the dealer several times for this issue. The said the replaced the radio. They can never get it to repeat. Any correct help will be appreciated. Thanks.
  23. I have '23 LTZ 4WD. What's out there for front and rear? I've looked at a couple sites, and spoke to a local 4wd shop. I'd like to keep each under 1k, but do not want something that will fold up easily. I'm not looking for a pre-runner style or any bars in front of the grill. I have the Rough Country slim ones on my 2017 and really like them. I do not want anything that looks like a big fat lip in the front either. Thanks.
