  1. I removed the harness from the jump seat and used it for the front of the console it has the plug you are talking about. The usb's in the jump seat use the same plug.Others have found different solutions but this worked good for me.
  2. I found you have to hold the tool against the sidewall near the valve stem. But on my wheels the sensors almost in the center of the wheel and wouldn't communicate,I finally got them to work by using the tool against the inner sidewall.Worth a shot.
  3. T-50 torx socket to remove the seat. You'll be glad you pulled the seat.makes life much easier. The large connector has basically a lever that hinges back and pops the connector open, once the seat is out of the way it will be obvious.Dont worry about the seat belt there is plenty of slack to take the seat out with it connected.Don't stress over the swap just take your time,A bonus to removing the seat is it makes it real easy to vacum the carpet when you're done!If you get stuck take a break grab a cold beverage and read through the thread again.I believe everyone has had success. It realy is an easy process. Have fun
  4. I can't guarantee it but it makes sense since it should be the same as others have done for the front ports.Again I didn't try it since I am happy with mine the way they are for now.maybe others could confirm this for you.
  5. Installed my console last weekend.I powered up my front usb ports instead of the ones inside the console since they are easier to access when you're driving. If anyone would like to do it this way it's really easy.Remove the entire harness from the jump seat and you will have the right plugs on that harness to plug right into the front usb's(plug and play)they charge and play music. .there is plenty of length to reach without cutting.then just splice the new console harness in to power up the 12v outlets and light in the console(I spliced everything in just because I was already into it and I want as much to work as possible. On mine all colors matched with the exception of the 12v+ but those are obvious since they just go to the 12v power ports. The white wire that doesn't match anything is for the light in the console, just connect to the 12v source of your choice .I expect that with the addition of the usb cable others have mentioned the usb ports inside the console could be used for charging if it was important to you. Sorry for the long post.Hope someone can use it.
  6. I received a confirmation the next day. They emailed me every day to let me know where my parts were until I received everything since my stuff came from five different locations.I wouldn't hesitate to contact them if you have any questions, they were very good to work with.
  7. Glad to hear she's ok
  8. I don't think you're going to find one.I think you will have to splice a harness to connect to the plug in the dash.Basically the same as I will have to splice the console harness to the seat harness to add the console to my truck. It's the same only different.
  9. The console itself comes complete with the arm rest and back panel, the diagram is a little misleading.I suggest doing what Myself and some other members have done, find a truck on the lot that has the exact console you want and take the vin from that truck to the parts dpt, and they will give you the part numbers. You may want to contact jchildress it sounds like he may have a console he wants to part with.Good luck
  10. My console finally came in today.Ordered mine from gmpartsheadquarters.com (aka Perry Buick,Norfolk Va) too. They didn't have the console so GM was going to pull one off the assembly line for them but they ended up getting it directly from the manufacturer,Was sent emails every day about the status of my order.Great customer service!!They definitely earned my business. Now I just have to wait for spring so I can install it.
  11. Interesting, haven't done this mod myself. Was just thinking out loud.
  12. I believe the tether is there to keep the pillar trim from becoming a large projectile in the event of an air bag deployment,Air bags have a lot of power I hate the thought of that thing hitting you or someone you love.
  13. AgDocktor: looks like there are two screws on top also.Check this thread it might help or the OP might be able to answer your question 3 coil wireless charger install in 2015 Sierra Denali
  14. Don't quote me but I think it is just snapped on like other trim pieces and secured with two screws in the lower recess,Someone else could probably give you a definite answer though as I haven't tried removing one,
  15. So,I struck out with gm parts direct, everything in stock but the console.Same thing with gm parts online. Just ordered with gm parts headquarters, good prices too. Thanks for the tip nolabell Hopefully it works out this time. I was told by gm parts online that the console is a discontinued part even though it's sitting on the lot in a brand new truck and my dealer says gm has them in stock in Lansing Mi.I hate to pay what the dealership wants for it though, Sorry for the rant Ron
  16. Yeah that's the one.The online GM parts sites have it for around 13-14 bucks Edit: they seem to want as much for shipping as the cost of the cable,Amazon it is!
  17. Thank you,I appreciate the help Ron
  18. Can't answer that one.The parts dept. at your dealer might be able to cross reference it and get you a #. The #23466999 is the current part for the 14-15 chevy in stock at General Motors in Lansing Mi as of yesterday according to my dealer.Dealer price was a little steep for me though. Good Luck
  19. A day too late for me but those are good prices.
  20. As far as I know yes it should be everything needed with the exception of the work necessary to make the wiring work for your truck. The other members here that have made the swap would know better than I would but that should be everything.I'm still looking into the micro usb cable to connect to the HMI. Can anyone tell me how long this cable will need to be? All the one's I've found so far are 12" long for jumping two cell phones together but i'm thinking these won't be long enough.
  21. Yup that's it.On the back(facing the back seat)there is a single 12volt lighter plug no adio or hvac controls that some of the high end trucks have
  22. Hi,new kid here. Been following this thread Just ordered my console today.Found a truck on the lot at my dealer that had the black console, grabbed the vin.Spent some time with the parts guy checking that everything would match up,all was good(should mention this was a 15 truck mine is a 14). Dealer price for everything $762.97 Did some shopping on gm parts direct and total was 513.52 plus about 30 for shipping(no tax) so pulled the trigger. while I was doing my research I noticed gm keeps changing the part numbers so if it will help anyone here are the current #s and the prices at gm parts direct. Black console, the basic one with one 12 plug on the rear cover part# 23466999 $ 310.11 Top plate with 110v outlet in synthesis # 23467113 $ 145.86 left side panel # 23467516 $ 22.27 right side panel # 22817347 $ 21,58 bracket # 22776807 $ 13.70 Ron
