    Possibly ... but hey they look awesome and like 'leather' so thats good for me. As long as it last another 5 odd years till I sell it for the new model I am good to go. It is the first leather option I have ever had in a vehicle so I am pleased with it. But I don't doubt what your saying, it would be typical of auto makers.

    Still not a fan of CarPlay since I have to plug in so it's nice to have NAV without having to plug in the phone.

    Though completely covered on the seat and door with dog covers ... so it's nice in the picture but will never be seen again since the dogs own the back seat.

    The new Chevy MyLink Infotainment system is AMAZING!!! This updated software int he new 2016's is spectacular.

    Was always a GMC Sierra guy due to one thing only ... The Front End .... THIS New Chevy front end is AMAZING!!! It is the first Chevy grille and front end I have ever liked and the main reason I bought the Silverado over the Sierra and also the fact the basic Z71 model has all color matched bumpers (where the Sierra is only Denali or higher packaged truck which costs WAY more then this Silverado)

    Any updates? Were you able to attempt install this weekend? Also can you provide the part #'s you ordered as well. I see you have a 2500 ... are the consoles, part numbers, etc. any different then the 1500's Looking forward to hearing how it coming along. Were in SoCal ... I am central Cal in Fresno .... how far south are you? I am looking to do this swap and will have a complete black leather jump-seat with console dash piece and all to covert yours to what you need for the 6th seat. I do not need the 6th seat and want to convert to the console. What color is your console? is it the carbon gray color called Synthesis? Thanks

    How is the signal on that stubby antenna? I have a short 9" antenna I got form a local truck shop and the signal is So So. I am looking for something stubby like that (though I would prefer shorter) BUT still has Solid station signal. I found that going from stock antenna to these I lost TONS of signal ... some channels are basically worthless now. How does this compare to your stock antenna? Did you lose a lot of signal? Also where do you get this one? I see the wire wrapping around the outside of the antenna which I think Really helps with signal right?... curious where you bought this and if online do you have a link? Thanks so much for the info.

    No lift ... just a 2-1/2"-3" level in the front and 2-1/4" ReadyLift rear blocks in the back is all.

    I am blacking out the badges when I get a chance (plasti-dip job didn't turn out right) ... and the Bowtie has already been blacked out in the front and back. The small amount of chrome is okay ... it kinda offsets all the red and black a bit overall.

    I have since added the ReadyLift 2-1/4" rear blocks to add and extra 1" to the rear and it is now 100% perfectly level front to back.

    Level ... 2.5" in front (it was installed at dealer so I think it may be 3") and just put on a set of rear 1" Readylift blocks as well (it's 2-1/4" blocks but your remove the 1-1/4" inch stock blocks to give the extra 1" in the back).

    Anyone have any thoughts on my recent questions quoted above? Still unsure on wiring for the most part and not sure if I should be buying the newest version console for my 16' or not ... then how wiring will work after that. Once I get a better grasp on this wiring stuff I will be more apt to pull the trigger and order one once I also figure out if I should just spend the extra $175 on the newest version console with the charging pad in the lid and also the inside media block not having the SD anymore like my current jumpseat. Still just unsure on what I want to do there and also unsure about this wiring situation and exactly how it all works. Thanks again for any and all help you can provide here or via PM. ;)
