  1. Well, I'd prefer adding 430 gears, keeping with factory sized or smaller tire and ALSO adding power.. LQ9 swapped but wanting headers and stall/FLT trans then cam/heads
  2. The same fellar I see do something that makes me facepalm today will look and me and shake his head tomorrow. If he knew to look for a front diff don't you believe he would have already? Anyone posting remarks could post a picture describing said diff. Or advise the guy to Google front diff 2008 Denali. A more important note is just because it's AWD doesn't make it invincible to snow, ice, or any other road condition for that matter. I'd prefer the AWD, 6.2 and 410 or 430 gears opposed to 373 or 342... Then again I drive a slt..... A 2004 SLT LOL!
  3. I got up to 120 and had some driveline vibration lolololol. Wind noise doesn't happen in mine. I usually maintain the speed limit or 10+-.. Most of the time folks pass me. Occasionally, I can't refuse hurting feelers when that lifted squatted 4x4 with loud exhaust comes by being a bully with his ebay hids and light bars plastered everywhere.. Oh what a feeling when my stock appearing truck runs off and hides from them lol... I do agree about the 4l60. A 6spd would surely help those 20+ mpg!
  4. Congrats on keeping this long. So, giving you think you can get 9k out of your truck that translate into you needing 10-12k for the Dmax. Body repairs on yours (I have no clue what yours needs) but go high and say 3500. Knock sensors, just did those last weekend (2.5 hrs and 140 for AC Delco harness/sensors. Seat heat, sounds like you don't need it anyways lol like mine it can stay out. Dash cluster, guy in TX that does work for dealers will convert yours into the escalade platinum with trans temp and led bulbs for 200 I think.. Quality work. 4wd selector when it goes is simple soldering job. Steering wheel controls burnt out? Again simple soldering job. Basically, you know exactly what's wrong with YOUR truck.. Diesels are nice, I wanted one bad. My motor went out in my 04 crew slt 4x4... Lq9 swap and l love it. Can't wait for my 4l60 to dump so I can stall /build it or buy from finish line, etc.... A pro charger would be cheaper than a diesel and since you don't tow.... Just keep your boring truck and fix it. That's the true meaning of truck love.. Making and keeping them the way you desire them to be! Good luck
