I had the same issue. Brand new 2016 Yukon Denali. The screen still worked and the buttons on the screen worked but NONE of the physical buttons like volume, on/off, and media button worked. After letting the car sit off for about 3 hours, all the buttons worked again. Next time I'll record it on my phone and bring it to the dealer.
