Well shit this thread took off....lol
I posted the TSB earlier back on the first page. I had to pay to get it from an online source as my dealer said they were not allowed to let customers see it as it wasnt a TSB but an internal memo from GM
That was rev. C After reading the 300+ post I see a Rev. D is out now.
Mine started at 7500 miles. literally right after the first oil change.
They replaced my gear box, took 2 weeks but this was back in sept. and the part number was the same
Also mine if a Flint truck as well
Im at 12k now and the steering seems to be holding up good so far. I guess I need to check for flakes in the fluid now. sheesh.,
This is my dream truck, my 3rd chevy truck and this by far is looking to be an issue until GM actually fixes the problem. The issue of mine was GM was still in the questioning tryinbg to figure out the issue stage, seems they may still be there
