I guess each truck is just a little different. It was worth all the work. It's not too tall, just gives it a bit more aggressive stance. Could someone tell me how to post pictures on here?

I want to post pics but I can't figure it out. It says error file too large. How do I do it?

Well they got it fixed today at no charge. Turns out the first guy that did my alignment didn't have the steering wheel straight lol. And really? Hmm I didn't think the rear would mess with the alignment at all. I guess I'll find out lol. I got 285/70r17 duratracs. Stock they rubbed the wheel well enough I had them take it back off. Good thing it was only a test fit. But now they look great and no rubbing at all! Now my truck looks like it should and I'm happy lol.

Finally leveled the front and got the tires on. Didn't get the blocks on the back yet as my floor jack broke doing the front. Alignment seemed good after the level but I got it done anyway as they suggest and now it pulls to the right. So now I'm sitting back at the shop again hoping they can get it straightened out. I think it looks alot better though. Too bad I can't seem to figure out how to upload pictures. It says error file too big.

My 15 is just a regular 4x4. I wonder if the z71 has just a tad more clearance.

****update**** I went to get my LT285/70R17 duratracs put on today. And they rub the rear wheel well ALOT. Luckily I had them only mount one to check. So now I'm back to my 255's all around unfortunately. Looks like I'll have to raise the front 2 inches before I can get them mounted.

Yea you got that right. Very expensive. I've considered 265 70 17 but I think ultimately I would like to go to 285 70 17. I had a similar size on my old 1500hd, (285/75R16) and I though they were the perfect size. So I'm trying to get as close to that as possible. They fit perfectly, all I had to do was trim the plastic valance on my 06 1500hd and it fit perfectly and really looked good in the wheel well. But on this 15, don't feel so good about trimming it up with only 10,000 miles lol. Any way you could post a couple pics so I could see how it looks with the 265/70r17?

Those look great. I have those same rims and I will be getting the duratracs. Does anybody know why some people's trucks rub using this size and some don't? I'd rather not spend the money and time install a level yet if I can get away with leaving it stock and not rubbing with those tires. They don't rub at full lock or anything?

Ok I know there is other threads talking about this. But in calling out to people who specifically have put 285 70 17 (32.7") tires on their silverado. I hear some people put these on with no lift or level and have no issues with rubbing. Then I hear about others who run on stock suspension. So to anyone out there with knowledge on this, can you put on 285 70 17 on a stock 15 silverado? I have a great deal on some LT285/70R17 for $860 dollars. I really need tires for winter but I don't want to lift/level just yet.

That's great, do you happen to have pics of how it looks with the 3 inch blocks?

Not sure if this is the right post to ask this in, but are the stock shocks long enough to use if I put 3 inch blocks in the back?
