  1. Will be fifth wheel shopping this spring. Definitely will be looking at these. Thanks for the heads up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I didn’t get one. I needed a cover right away. I ended up making my own version of that using a Retrax MX Pro and a Thule roof rack mounted on top of the Retrax. Search for the thread “Alternate bike rack while towing TT” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Retrax is cool looking, and very functional, but leaks like a you-know-what. If you absolutely must have dry storage, the retrax will not work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would say my 2016 is adequate, but definitely not going to win any awards for cooling power. I have to set the temp gauge all the way to LO to really cool things down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You should be able to walk into any reputable tint place and just say "match the back windows". That's all I've ever done. In shade, it's a perfect match. In full sun, the front will look slightly lighter, but I think that is because of the windshield. No way around that. I believe the brand on mine is Sunguard. Been using the same place for years. No problems yet. Black interior: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I hear you on the wandering without a trailer. I feel like I'm constantly making tiny left / right course corrections. If I pretend like I'm about to hit a slalom course, and whip the wheel left and right, I feel like I'm not getting a crisp response. More like I'm driving in mud, and there is a delay in the steering response. It's subtle, so I haven't brought it up with the dealer yet, but as soon as I feel like it's bad enough that they'll know what I'm talking about after a two minute test drive, it's going in. 2016 Sierra 2500 crew cab, built in Flint. 7. About 9,000 miles on mine. My brakes have squeaked almost since day one. Had them checked at first oil change. Dealer said no problems. Said brakes they use now build up a slight surface rust very quickly when exposed to moisture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Had a 2015 Suburban that had a mysterious whistling. Checked mirrors, roof rack, door trim. No luck. Ended up being the gap between the hood and the grill. Dealer put a black foam strip across the top of the grill area just behind the spot where the front edge of the hood would lie, and never heard another whistle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The RainX fit on my 2016, but they still suck. That's the second brand I've tried, plus what came stock on truck. I feel like GM changed the glass or something, because none of the wipers seem to be able to clear the windshield without massive streaking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Anybody have this cover yet? Looks like a cool concept, but I'm wondering how well they made it. Supposed to be available for the HD trucks around the end of March, and I'm hoping it's worth waiting for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. When I was looking for my truck, I was unable to find a Denali with standard suspension. I ended up driving an SLE with standard suspension, and did not notice a big difference. It was a quick 10 minutes on well maintained road, so a crappy road might be more noticeable. I would have liked to try a Denali with that setup, but there were none to be found. 12. Heck, my truck stops itself going DOWNHILL. Should save me lots of money on brake jobs down the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Mine bounce/flicker over bumps. Doesn't bother me enough to address it, but I did notice it right away when I bought the vehicle. Hopefully everyone I'm driving towards doesn't think I'm flashing my lights at them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Pressure hose. They said return hoses would be more like $200. We are going to try to get them to compromise since there are TSBs on the power steering components. Never thought I'd hear a hose replacement cost close to a thousand dollars. Maybe leasing isn't such a bad plan after all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
