  1. Yep I have a hypertech max 2.0 tuner already I’m gonna buy longer speed sensor leads and try that also my scan tool isn’t showing any codes to get any information

Anyone got a zeroed in reason behind the stabilitrak system acting up on lifts ? i leveled my truck with 33s and got the problems so I had it aligned and it was hardly noticeable went full 8” lift 35” and it’s back so I got another alignment (3 now) and no change tire calibration didn’t fix it either time so that’s out I checked grounds abs wires I live in the country and on switchbacks Or hairpins at 20mph is when it does it along with turning full turn into parking lots the brake pedal will change like abs is kicking in but it’s not coming up on screen as abs all abs wires are loose fitting although that’s my next purchase or new bcm I guess to try find a fix anyone that has had this problem and fixed it?

Anyone ever get a good fix on this problem ? my truck sounds just like the original posters video and I had a torque converter installed and it came out of the local shop with a worse off leaking sound I changed the donut gaskets but still no fix it has to be the manifolds leaking it only does it on acceleration and cold start makes the rest of the exhaust sound like crap

Update: the reason I couldn’t or wouldn’t change my stuff at a more reasonable interval was mostly because I was putting 5000-9000 miles per month at times and having to change oil every other weekend if I followed the 20% change display lol i have recently changed jobs to a 3hr away drive that’s only 150 odd miles so I will start doing my oil changes sooner mileage wise and going more weeks Between changes hopefully im still idling for 10hrs a day with a/c on and even with all that the olm still goes to 7300 miles also I used 1 quart extra this past cycle which is not new but it is inconsistent some cycles it doesn’t use and some it does never more then 1qt in a 10k cycle vacum pump is making a nice tick tick tick on driver side that is annoying when going down a fast food drive through lol my biggest worrie is still the trans even with sucking out the 4-5qts tranny fluid every engine oil change and replacing it still has odd tendency to awkwardly down shift a few times when kicking in passing gear at certain speeds like it’s in between gears or something

I’d like to think so too it’s only 10mins once you’ve got a setup together to run the tube down the dipstick and pump out 4-5quarts and then $25 or so for atf Fluid I’ve only had my truck 16months and it had 300 miles on it now I’ve put 90k on it so I know it’s not gonna last another 5-6yrs till it’s paid off from the bank lol i got to Get at least 300k outta it before I go upside down on another trade in lol

If got 90k miles ive been doing the siphon and refill since 40k my fluid is never very pink though when I siphon it out it’s more on the crimson side with no burnt smell I’ve only ever towed a car 50miles 1 time in its life so far so not much towing I figured if I change 5quarts at a time eventually I’ll have 75% or better fluid changed
  9. So I’m good on trans fluids but from the way you guys all talk I need to shorting up my engine oil mileage on changes lol
  10. When I say 50% I’m on the 2nd round of the olm so I guess basically 11,250 miles on a oil change with mobile 1s 20k filter and oil what about changing trans fluids so often ? Its only $25 for 5quarts of atf and 5 mind to suck out the pan but am I hurting it more then helping or just stick by the book ?
  11. 2016 5.3 6sp cc 1500 lt im still driving from wv to Georgia and back for work once a week and I do a lot of setting parked in my truck just idling my engine hrs are 3000hrs@88000 miles I’ve been doing the mobile 1 20k filters and oil and changing it at about 50% after resetting my olm Once during the oil seems good I just wonder if the excessive idling and long distance highway only (not 85mph) miles is considered extreme use? no towing just cruis control 70mph max for 550mile trips also I have been siphoning out 4-5 quarts of atf through the trans dipstick every other engine oil change since 45k miles I haven’t dropped the pan and was wondering if this was a safe practice to do from now on out or should I stop and let the trans oil get more miles on it ? i just don’t wanna look back a yr from now and wonder if I caused something to wear faster when I could change the way I do things now thanks matt
