  1. 2017 Sierra SLT with 6.2L. At 8000 miles I started to get the shudder. After 3trips to the dealer for multiple flushes and eventually putting on a new torque converter it’s doing it again. I currently have 14,800 miles. Is this a trend others have seen? Could it be something else that’s causing this issue? I’ve had this truck for 13 months and not really enjoying this expensive experience.
  2. Only myself to blame hit it with a 2x10 I was loading in the back. No paint scrape just a strait in little dent that’s easy to see when it’s not super bright out. Any tricks to fix something like that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. in my mind there's nothing typical about it. Is not free when they want me to go weeks without a vehicle because in Houston they don't have any and won't give me one off the lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. theres no way I'm going two months. If I'm paying I expect it to work. Guess we will find out later today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nope still there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm keeping track of this stuff. Only 8400 miles on a $58k (sticker) truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So turns out the other day that my torque converter is bad at 7800 miles. Get in it today and the infotainment doesn't work. Black screen. Tried restarting many times. After 10 min on the road this pops up. Anyone had this before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. its all factory. It was the front left that blew and it was replaced with the factory spare that's the same size. For all I know it could be the tranny having issues which would still feel like it's up front. I've already called roadside to show up and tie it to the nearest dealership so I guess we will see. Contacted my insurance agent too just in case. [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. yea when I bought it I was told to leave it in 2wd and it always stays there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It's not it's directly related to applying gas and shifting or something of that nature Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm wondering if high water could have done something. I fly for a living and was in Arizona when everything happened. But never noticed anything until I blew a tire and changed it out earlier. Gave it the gas to merge back onto the highway and got the messages, no shifter indication, and shutter. After letting it sit all errors have cleared except the tire monitoring but the shutter is still happening. The engine runs smooth that's why I feel it's something with the gears or traction control. 12. not at the moment and there are zero rental cars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Honestly it feels like a rough vibration from the transmission. Would I get any error if there was water in the fluid or issues with it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. And how does the tire monitoring system get its data from the tire? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So it doesn't do anything for me? Would it mess with anything that could result in the issues I'm having above or is it possible running in the spare like I am is doing it since there is no PSI data and whatnot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
