Since GM is not wanting to replace springs any more. I had the dealership grease the bushing, shackles, and pads. This fixed it for a couple of days and its back still popping whenever I go over uneven surface at slow speeds. It can also be heard by simply putting any amount of weight on truck; stepping on the bumper, opening any of the doors, placing your arms on the sides of the truck. Needless to say I am very annoyed that GM hasn't fixed this yet.

I would really like to see a poll on this. I just have a Z71 none tow package and I have been in the shop 3 times and I am still having to turn my radio up higher and higher.

My issue with my rear leaf springs is the bushings I think. I spray them down with Tri-flow and noise goes away for awhile but comes right back. Unfortunately I don't see any places that have replacement for just the bushings yet. GM parts direct only list the leaf spring assembly with I am assuming bushings installed. I was told by the dealership that if it isn't "broken" warranty can't fix it. I only have 10k miles. My 2011 2500 never had this issue with 60k and towed with it.

I am going to add my truck to the list of popping/clunking coming from the rear while truck moves laterally. It has been in the dealership and they have greased the springs and re-torqued the U-bolts and shackles. It fixed it for a day then it rain and it's back even worse. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew cab Z71 with 10,250miles. The dealership told me that since they preformed the TSB on it they will have to get info back from GM on the next step to be performed. When the tuck is pushed side to side and you place your hand on the leaf springs you can feel the noise come through them. But sitting in the truck it is hard to tell if its front or rear, because I originally believed it was the front end until I stood on the bumper and it made the noise. I don't abuse the truck nor take it off road. I am very particular with my truck and keep it well maintained. I traded in my 2011 Silverado 2500 Duramax and it never made this kind of noise from the suspension. Some days I miss that beast.
