  1. Looks like I'll be the first to go to the dealer next week. Out of like 5 trucks of people we know, they're all leaking around that inspection cover.
  2. Just crawled under and saw this..... My buddies 2020 is doing the same thing. 17k miles
  3. I wish gmc would up the psi to 110 for G rated tires though Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. I would do a quick connect and use a suction cup. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  5. Had a 2017 Suburban that did this. First. Vehicle ever that could not block outside air with recirculate on. Just traded it in for a 2020 gmc sierra. Recirculate works like its supposed to and I can not smell any outside air any more. Such a Shit idea by GMC to not block completely. Inhaling exhaust fumes in tunnels and other areas is terrible.! 6. Keeping this thread alive, as it is a good one. I just purchased a 3500 SLT loaded like a denali. Bought the tpms sensors for my prograde trailering system, thank you all for that. Question on the CAMs. How the heck is everyone running the wire? I guess there is no wireless option? I want to do the interior one in garage to watch my harleys and the rear to just see what's behind me. Dale Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  7. I'm thinking about rigging up a piece of sound proof material and gluing it around steering column and hole on the inside. Hell, I may even just duct tape it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. I heard a little ticking again the other night. I wonder if the grease they packed my new boot with is leaking out...... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. Sometimes my recirculate is 100% and sometimes it's not it seems. I don't know. Carob air filter helps. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Truck is dead silent after pip5570 fix all. No ticks at all and drove 10 hours yesterday. Go get it done for sure! My dealer applied grease too, so not sure if it helps or boot is enough. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. Got my truck back after I showed them the pip5570A Tsb. No ticking thus far and took some pics of the new boot. Looks like they put some grease in there too. Will report back in a week. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. Dropped mine off Monday and showed them pip5570a. They're applying a new boot. I showed them the grease trick and explained how it was working and all makes sense. I just forwarded them the previous message about something behind the dash also rattling possibly. I'll let you all know when I get it back. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Please let us know if the new boot fixes it. More validation would be helpful before I drop my truck off again for the 5th time. Lol Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. I left my service manager a voicemail about it and asked him to call GM about it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  15. Welp, sprayed white lithium grease around boot and..... it friggen works. Not one tick..... I was thinking about taking a piece of high heat sound proofing material and wrapping it around part of the steering column. Should absorb any reverbaration up the column. What do you guys think? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you both. I will report back my findings as well. Ticking was loud as hell on last road trip I took. Tick tick tick all the way down the highway on cruise. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. Can you snap a few pics of the locations? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. This coincides with the tempirary steering wheel turn fix someone posted the other day. I sent this to my service manager on my truck to get his thoughts. Thank you Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. I drove a brand new 2018 with the same setup as mine. Guess what. Ticking noise..... although quieter. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Yep, let me see if I can replicate first. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. I wrote a long survey to the last maintenace and gave 0 stars. It was very polite and manager immediately called me next day. He rode in truck with me for 1 hour. He could easily replicate it by letting off gas and barely pushing pedal. Tick tick tick. He said he will work it until fixed. I'm gonna try the procedure you guys did before I bring it in next week.l and then show him if it works on mine. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. My service manager and service tech acknowledged the tick finally! They tried new fuel line and new style exhaust clamp, but still ticks. He said to bring it back until it's fixed, so that's good news. They're really trying. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. Yes! Sometimes pushing the throttle gets low response until overdrive kicks in. I ****ing hate it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. I know sometimes in a fast food drive through, it's real loud. Ricochets off the building wall near drivers side. Think they'll mind if crawl under my truck next time to find the noise? Lol. I'll say my tranny blew. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. Have you guys ever tried a mechanics stethoscope and search for it? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
