    I didn't use cognitive dissonance based on our to different options. I know saying it's your fault is the "right" thing to do. But The consequences could/might be avoided. "Cognitive dissonance." Legally it's not your job to say who's fault it is, even if it was your fault. That's up to the insurance and the authority to rule the verdict.
