  1. Well you probably won't beleive me but I'm pulling with a V6 EcoBoost engine. Its not even at 1/2 its capacity over here in eastern PA. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. So you still have a 1/2 ton, just bigger engine suspension etc. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. What series truck do you have now?. My concern is no matter the tow vehicle the wagging is gonna happen, bigger truck you might not feel it but its still there. That's what the WDH is designed to do eliminate sway. And if its not gonna work I need to find one that does. I like the design of the R6. Now I may have a weight issue that I'll have to work on. I wanted to see if anyone else had any issues. There's almost no reviews on the recurve hitches. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. You said you upgraded your truck in the other post. What issues were you having? I assume sag being you mentioned the sumosprings. Did you have non wind sway? Did you have power issues? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. Not officially.. We have a scale here at work. I took truck across and truck/trailer across. The more I thought about it yesterday I think I'm light on my tongue weight. I might try to get a tongue scale. My old unit only had front storage. New one has front and rear. I initial spit the gear in half. But all the interior stuff (dishes pots pans etc.) is behind the wheels. Like I said it pulls great, except it sways just a side to side constantly. Not white knuckle sway just a side to side wagging. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry its 13,000 not 16,000 I missed typed that. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. I'm not saying I would ever attempt to pull that. That's just what the manufacturer states its rated for. Which I'm fully aware is based on math not real world. My combined truck & camper weight is less than 12,000. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Truck is rated for 16,000 lbs trailer. Camco keeps saying the hitch is correct for TV / TT combo. Just don't know why I'm getting sway. Besides this is new trailer. My last one which I started this WDH was 2500 lbs lighter. And had sway issues just did get it figured out before trading it in. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Reflection 285BHTS UVW 7695 Loaded 9000 +/- 35'-7" Hitch weight I would say 1000 lbs max. Im using the R6 1200 lb bars. With a 150 crew cab I'm fighting sway, all else is fine. Pulls level, and straight. Little to no proposing. Yes tried all adjustments I could think of, to hitch and weight in trailer. Even called camco did there suggestions. 10. Rosco, Do you still tow with the R6 WDH? I recently bought one and I'm dealing with sway. Any suggestions?
