  1. You da Man!!! That was so easy. Popped the plate off and it was right there. Soo close. It fires my actuator but I must need a nicer one. Bought the cheapest one on Amazon and it returns to center after firing. So close, but you just solved my biggest hurdle. Thanks again for helping!
  2. Thanks! I thought about popping the panel off, but dang.... I just bought this thing - 2500 denali HD... 60 miles on it.. I have been driving my 04 yukon for 11 years... So if i am brave enough to pop the panel open do i just start prying on the exterior of the handle? Looks to be pretty secure- thinking I may have to get to it from the inside of the tailgate but i dont know where to start. I guess i will start googling how to remove that handle - You are right once i get to the lock i should be golden - may need to add a relay... rrr *It just stinks cause there is a disconnect plug right under the truck i can easily tap into the wires there.... THanks again,
  3. I am attempting to make a minor mod that will change my life.... I recently got my first pickup and added a toolbox (Weatherguard saddle box). Love the setup, but one complaint is no power locks on the toolbox. Looking at the Weatherguard lock it is an extremely simple design. I have engineered a way to add a solenoid and make it work but just need to tap into the lock / unlock wire. Once i get everything working i will try and post a how-to so others can do it. My Question: Which wire in the harness going to the tailgate controls the lock/unlock. Appears to be about 6 or 8 wires in the harness. I assume most are for the camera and only two are for the lock. Any ideas how to ID which wires are the lock. If i had 8 hands i would fire the lock/unlock while i measure each wire in the harness but that would take a while -especially if there are 8 and i have to find the two reversing polarity on lock/unlock. Thanks in advance,
