  1. Fortunately they do, already started that process against the other insurance company. From what I've seen though unless your in GA, the value of that claim is hard to prove, but we shall see how it all plays out.
  2. Thanks for the advice. I have USAA and this has been a concern of mine throughout this whole ordeal. Luckily since the Vehicle is so new, it's within the period where USAA will only fix it with OEM parts so I'm hopeful it ends up playing out that way. Also curious to see how the BDS components held up and the next steps regarding those. Impact was primarily on the front, driver-side corner which seems to be a weak point for the frame. Just hope damage like that doesn't haunt me for the lifetime of the vehicle. Anxious to see what the estimate will be, would assume the write-off threshold will be ridiculously high given the truck is only 7 months old.
  3. Happened last week, but have been too busy to post. Lady blindly pulled out in front of me in an intersection in her little camry, as I was going through it. Luckily it was just me in the truck, and no one was hurt. Driving around this rental silverado just doesn't feel the same. Now, waiting to hear for the full assessment of damages.
  4. Yea, I figured this was likely the issue. I ended up jumping under the truck this morning and just trying to hand torque the shocks and u-bolts. Nothing seemed to loose, but the noise seems to have subsided on my commute to work this morning.
  5. Have a strange clunk/rattle coming from the rear now when going over bumps at low speed. BDS 6" lift. What should I be looking for?
  6. Hi all, Had a bds 6” lift installed and now when I go over bumps slowly sometimes I’ll hear what sounds like a clunk/rattle from from the right rear of the truck. Almost sounds like like something in the bed is shifting. Is this normal with the stiffer shocks and bigger tires or what should I be looking for? 6” Bds lift, fox rear shocks and 35’s. 7. Thanks! Yea, I have not measured it yet but I'd say the BDS lift pushes it out about 1.5" and then the offset of the wheels plus the wider tires added another 1.5" inches or so. I was afraid it was going to be too far out, but It's actually perfect for the height.
  8. Had my 6" BDS lift installed this weekend. Went with 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers on fuel 20x10. An interesting thing to note, the installer I went through said they must've changed something incrementally in the 2018 year wheel wells. Where they had to trim previously to fit 20x10's on earlier years, everything cleared fine without rubbing. All they had to do was remove the valence. If anyone is within distance to NothingButLifts in Jasper, AL I highly recommend them they really know their stuff and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I drove 3 hours from TN to get to them and forewent all the local shops around Nashville, and am extremely happy I did. Now to figure out what's next...
  9. For those who have the BDS 6" should I add the AAL? I'm about to put a deposit down for the lift etc. The shop I'm using said it will sit just a hair higher in the back without the extra AAL, but I worry once everything settles if it will drop too low. Thoughts? Ideally I'd like maybe half an inch of rake.
  10. Routing the USB's from the HMI so everything works like stock. these are detailed in PGamboa's thread about this.
  11. Mines a 2018, ordered the 2018 console which is the exact same as the 2016 except it has the newer version of the wireless charger. Here’s my parts list: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. About 6 days from order being placed to being delivered. I ordered through GMPartsNow though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. All done, love it. Best upgrade so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Just installed my swap yesterday, looks great and everything works well thanks to the great @pgamboa Have 2 questions though for people who have fully completed this swap. 1. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the side trim pieces on with the console itself bolted in. Do these side trim pieces need to be installed with the center console unbolted? 2. Does anyone else's cup holders rattle with a drink in them when going over a bump? Trying to figure out what could be loose and how to fix it.
  15. If you have the reverse tartan trim (cross stitched silver) it is 84092079
  16. Cool! I plan on getting my order in this week as well
  17. Yep, I got the same answer!
  18. GMPartsNow.com has a reasonable return policy so maybe. Need more people to call them up and ask if this is correct for verification.
  19. I actually was the one in that thread who brought it up back in January. This is the 2nd parts rep who has told me this is the one I need given a 2018 VIN. This time I specifically asked if the Wireless charging lid and back plate were included and he said they are and linked those diagrams direct from catalog.
  20. Got in touch with Jim at GMPartsNow.com I gave him the VIN of a 2018 Silverado Crew Cab that had the center console. He said the full assembly for my 2018. including the wireless charging lid is Part #84288040. Sent me these diagrams since no site I found lists the diagram for this part number.
  21. Didn't you say your's came with the wireless charging lid?
  22. Does anyone have the part number for the 2018? I know there's a difference in the wireless charging lids between the 2017 and 2018. Would like to get the 2018 version. I spoke with GMPartsNow who gave me the part number 84288040, but I don't think this is right.
  23. Well I am officially confused by all these part numbers. Is there any difference between the different year's consoles? Anyone have a 2018 black/white thread, with wireless charging part number? I have been told like 3 different part numbers and it's hard to verify which is correct. Part number 84199886 is one that @Frank Jr recommended to me because it has the wireless charging lid that comes with it. Think this might be for a 2017 though, I have no way to verify.
  24. Question for those of you who have completed this. My Jump seat shakes side to side, evident with a drink or two in the cup holder; I believe this is due to the hinges. Did anyone else who went from the jumpseat to the center console notice this with their jumpseat? Wondering if the center console will stop my drinks from shaking. If so I'm going to pull the trigger immediately.
