After a year long battle with GM through the Lemon Law in Florida, I was finally offered a buyback on my vehicle. I had transmission issues since the first several months of ownership and continued for several years. Transmissions replaced, rebuilt, as well as other components replaced but there were still ongoing problems. I learned a lot from this forum and who knows I may be back. Hello, Selling GM Red tow hooks part# GM 84192871. Had these on my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 for about a year. Some minor scratches which are hidden once installed. Missing one long bolt since I had to cut it to remove the black hooks on the truck before I installed these. You can re-use your own long bolt if you have chrome\black hooks already. How's the 6 speed transmission with the 6.6 v8? Any concerns? I have a 6 speed on my 2017 GMC 1500 and nothing but issues. I am sure it's a different 6 speed on the 2020 2500HD.

For those of you with these great deals. When you negotiated the price off the MSRP, was that final price before adding all the qualifying rebates in? For example for 15% off the MSRP MSRP = 65,500 15% off MSRP = 55,765 Then all the qualifying rebates get added in? Or did the dealer just use the rebates as that percentage off the MSRP to get you the price you wanted?

Did you have any check engine lights come on or just plugged in a code reader?

Is this sound different than the fuel pump? I hear what sounds like a sewing machine under acceleration under the drivers side floor.

JJCamper, I don't have a 4x4 but I do have a Sierra v6 that had similar issue. See here what the dealer found after I was told previously that it was normal operation. I also noticed it was worse when the transmission got up to temp. Oh, forgot to add hen shortly after the above work was done around 600 miles started doing the hard downshifts again and they found quote " Found several valves in the valve body scored due to metal in transmission at last repair of torque converter failure. This is causing valves to bind and stick intermittently when hot." They had to replace the upper and lower valve body assembly. You think they would have flushed the transmission after the first repair a few times.

I just did it again today. I happen to hop into the passenger seat today and turned on the ignition to refresh my SiriusXM radio. I then turned the car off and closed and lock the passenger door and the radio continued to play. Wasn't till I opened the drivers door and that it turned off.

Good Day all, I just did this mod and noticed that my radio stayed on after locking my doors. I also noticed the cargo light indicator on the switch was on as well. It wasn't until I opened and closed my drivers door that the radio shutoff. Any ideas?

Thanks, I did the chalk test yesterday and 37psi seems to be the sweet spot on mine.
