Is accessorizing your truck something that you are currently interested and/or investing in? IF YES: What is your to top priority when choosing accessories for your truck? (Quality/Price/Look/Reviews) IF NO: Why not? (No time/money, inexperience, no vehicle) Yes I am definitely interested and currently investing in my trucks accessories. In order of importance, quality, price, reviews, looks. (It'd have to be truly hideous to turn down a high quality, cheap, with great reviews product) Would you purchase something because it's priced cheaper, regardless of negative reviews, or options of higher-end, better quality products? (YES or NO) Yes Would you purchase an accessory purely based on how it looks? Even if that means the product does not work well or may not work at all? Absolutely not (exception: unless the cost is almost negligible, like if the cost could justify even a single use or enough to simply satisfy my curiosity even if it never worked)
Thank you very much I will look into this later this week. I will have to research how to read that schematic. When looking at the O2 sensors for damage, you mean physically from like a rock or something, or would there be damage to the portion inside the exhaust? Also is there 4? 1 for each bank pre and post cat.
Hey guys, I bought this 2003 Suburban Z71 4WD about a month ago. It had many check engine codes but it runs and drives great. Can anyone help steer me in the right direction as far as getting some of these fixed? I know sometimes having move than one code can narrow the options of what the root cause is so I will post all of them: U1000-Class 2 data link malfunction U1255-Class 2 communication malfunction C0300-Rear Propshaft signal circuit malfunction C0305-Front propshaft speed sensor system malfunction C0306-Motor A/B circuit malfunction C0321-Transfer case lock circuit malfunction C0327-Encoder circuit C0359-4LO discrete output circuit malfunction C0374-General system malfunction C0379-Front axle circuit malfunction P0141-Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 P0154-Oxygen circuit activity detected bank 2 sensor 1 intermittent P0155-Oxygen circuit heater circuit bank 2 sensor 1 P0161-Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2 I think P0141, P0154, P0155, and P0161 just means I need to replace all 4 O2 sensors? or could it mean something else? Also the "service 4wd" and "rear access open" messages on the dash. It seems the truck thinking the rear access is open is why 1:the rear wiper won't work 2: the interior lights will only come on when I push the dash button but not on extt/entry and 3: I can't lock the doors while the truck is on. The U1000, found online it probably DOESN'T mean the PCM is bad, possibly a bad ground, but I also have the U1255, IDK if they are related. C0300 says it could commonly be four-wheel drive switch or actuator failures. For C0300 and C0305 I found this page: Chevy bulletin C0306 youtube-bad ground-I am going to go try and do this tonight if weather permits.
Starling Chevy and New Smyrna both acted like it was no problem and just never got back with me, even after multiple calls/IMs. Carl Black is the only one who flat refused stating, not that age, but the fact I didn't buy it from them was the issue. Is this a legit site? I only want one I don't want 5 lol.
I keep getting sent to the service area. I've tried Starling Chevrolet, Carl Black Chevrolet, and New Smyrna Chevrolet. Got nothing yet from any of them and I've tried a mix of calling and online chatting with them. Have any suggestions for a helpful dealer?
Do dealerships not provide build sheets any longer? I called a local dealership, and two separate times they told me they will email it to me and never have. I called another and the said because I didn't buy it from them they can't help me. There also used to be a GM site you could do VIN decoding but seems it's shut down. The only place I can seem to find it is that comp nine site but it's 5 bucks but idk if it's legit or not.
Hey guys! I bought a wa AG brush guard used on Craigslist. It's a one piece looks like it has all the brackets and bolts but no instructions. The guy said just look on their site but I don't see instructions anywhere! Has these funky brackets they can mount it I believe somewhere under the grill. I have the bottom tow hooks out and I'm trying to figure out where these top brackets go anything you guys can help with?
Hey guys, just bought a semi-rough 2003 Suburban Z71 4WD. Seems to have alot of options, I have papers on it having the trans rebuilt last year which is nice. Needs pads, rotors, and tires. Took it to get the check engine light and got this list: U1000-Class 2 data link malfunction U1255-Class 2 communication malfunction C0300-Rear Propshaft signal circuit malfunction C0305-Front propshaft speed sensor system malfunction C0306-Motor A/B circuit malfunction C0321-Transfer case lock circuit malfunction C0327-Encoder circuit C0359-4LO discrete output circuit malfunction C0374-General system malfunction C0379-Front axle circuit malfunction P0141-Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 P0154-Oxygen circuit activity detected bank 2 sensor 1 intermittent P0155-Oxygen circuit heater circuit bank 2 sensor 1 P0161-Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2 After some googling, looks like all the "P" codes and C0300 are all oxygen sensors that probably need replaced. After that I'm unsure of the rest figuring out what actually needs to be fixed. Any help guys? Thanks in advance! Nice to be here
