So I'll just buy a new harness lol makes most sense just didnt want to if it were somwthing else possible wrong

So 2019 sierra at4 5.3 8 speed. Today my drive window gave me some issuses went down would come up. Go up about a inch and stop. So I took the door card off too see if I could see any issuses and when I checked my passenger with with that switch it started jerking down and jerking up but would work fine on its own door controls. So I searched it said prob door harness because my power lock and unlock buttons dont work either so I have the harness out and I couldn't see anything wrong with it. Is it worth changing or is it the window motor causing issuses because after tapping it slightly with a rubber hammer it wouldn't do anything up or down the small amount thay it did go. Idk if this is a common issus or what.

So I have 2019 sierra at4, I had camera issuses since day one I went back a bunch of times about it they keep saying it was fixed but it was not. So now all cameras have stopped working and I brought it to a diffrent dealership and had it diganose and it seems the video processing moduel kicked the bucket. Since I am out of warrent gm won't cover anything even tho it was a preexisting problem. I also had the leak in the rear and had all the seats and carpet replaced because of mold. And according to gm if you had this leak and had camera issuses they should change the VPM to fix the issuse but it was never done and now they won't fix it because I am out of warrenty anybody else have this issuse.

So all of a sudden my driver and passenger door lock and unlock on the interior do not work. The door handel buttons all work all 4 of them and the doors lock and unlock from key fob all windows work eveything works except for both door interior lock and unlock switches. Anybody know if there's a fuse that runs both of them or a place ti start looking.

I was reading about this on Google the other day, and my situation is that there is no engine light on and I have no issues other than the fact that my four-wheel drive (4WD) isn't working. Everything else is functioning perfectly. This problem started after I had a bad ground issue, which led to a no-start condition. I found and replaced the faulty ground, but now I can't engage the 4WD. Initially, the Transmission Control Module (TCCM) wasn't showing up until I pulled out the fuse and reinstalled it. Now, I have a long-term memory issue, and the code is showing up under my TCCM module. I'm not sure if the problem might be related to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

Thanks I'll give that a go at first thanks

I have a 2019 Sierra AT4 with a 5.3 engine. After experiencing a ground failure and replacing that along with a new battery, I found that I was left without 4WD. I scanned the system, but it didn’t show a TCCM (Transfer Case Control Module), so I thought it might be due to my cheap scanner. I upgraded to a new scanner, but it still didn't show the TCCM. However, when I unplugged the fuse for the TCCM and reinstalled it, I scanned again, and now it shows the TCCM with the code P062F-00. My question is: Is there something I can try to get the 4WD working again, or am I looking at needing a new TCCM or addressing something else entirely? I tried clearing the code, but it keeps coming back. All the other codes cleared except for one related to the battery for the key fob, which persists after I installed new batteries. Additionally, the left-side camera has failed, but getting the 4WD back up and running is my main priority. 2019_GMC_Sierra_1GTP9EED0KZ160844_Report_2025-08-27 0452.pdf

DO ANYBODY KNOW THE LOCATION OF ALL GROUND POINTS
Fowler replied to Fowler's topic in Troubleshooting, Warranty & Recalls
Yes no codes the ones that do come up are usually gone by the time I am able to get a chance to scan them and I know if I bring it to the dealer if there's no codes they ain't doing ****** here -
DO ANYBODY KNOW THE LOCATION OF ALL GROUND POINTS
Fowler replied to Fowler's topic in Troubleshooting, Warranty & Recalls
Yes replaced the 2 on that side -
I have a 2019 new body at4 sierra 5.3 fully loaded had a bad ground strap the large one from the pasenger side engine to chassie the ground was so bad truck wouldn't start. Installed new ground strap and then a new battery now I have no 4wd buttons are lit up but when pushing them nothing happenes get the scattered service 4wd and service esc and loss of steering assit usually resets itself after I drive for a bit anybody got any ideas
-
so it was the main ground strap from the engine to the firewall under the fender skirt on the passenger side not the 14 inch small one that goes from the firewall to the chassie but the one futher in that comes directly from the motor to the firewall. when i was looking for geound strap location i couldnt find much on location but a guy on here " auto raiders" pointed me in the correct direction.

That's my next course of action when the rain stops.

i have a 2019 sierra at4 5.3. so as stated i have a no crank issuse i have a few codes P0617-00 P0622-00 P062B-00 P16E3-00 P26E6-00 P305E-00 U0102-00 U01B0-00 U0284-00 U1345-00 So if your still reading i have changed the better, changed the batter sensor module and pulled the ground strap off the passenger side and cleaned eveything and reinstalled still the same also tighten the bolts in the fues panel under the hood so i am at the point iam not sure whatever to try and i rather not spend a pile of money on parts that may or may not fix anything. if anybody has has this issues and have a guid on what i can check next that would be great.

Just had my front windshield replaced tech called and said I have e over 40 codes for the camera system so he would not be able to collaborate the cameras system. Any idea where to start looking.

For a friend of a friend 2008 Chev Silverado 1500 crew cab 5.3L. 290k km. Recent work: 1. Transmission swap last year, no issues. 2. Ignition cylinder tumbles drilled last year due to sticky keys. Problem fixed no issues after. Driven up until about six months ago, when it stopped starting, no turn no crank. Just suddenly stopped starting. Battery good, and no issues with power to fuse box, or to truck itself. All electronics fine, no Anti-Theft engaged. Truck was towed into local shop and investigated with no success. Most electrical grounds and lines have been inspected cleaned tested, Fusebox initially determined to be culprit due to corrosion, so new fuse box installed, power and grounds at relay. Fuses have been tested and swapped, all working fine. Can't manually engage relay for engine crank, fuel pump, etc. New ignition switch installed; neutral safety switch ok. ABS and airbags unplugged; OnStar unit unplugged. Scan tool found ignition to read crank but no signal from PCM, tested wires from ignition to fuse panel to PCM, wires are ok. *Possible PCM failure* So, I decided to tow truck to dealership. Dealership did some investigation and re-coded keys, fuel pump wasn’t engaging, fuel pump fuse (20A) was missing or not working, replaced and the truck started. Dealership recommended to replace ignition cylinder and have new keys reprogrammed, but Truck STARTED and running so refused. Re-coded spare set of key and gave the truck back. I drove truck over the highway with no issues running smooth. turned truck off and on, restarted multiple times, no issues. Problem seemingly fixed. The next day, the truck will not start again, exact same issue. Back to square one. *(SEE VIDEO ATTACHED) I can be started with the key only if I disconnect and reconnect the main power supply, either at the panel or battery. The initial contact with battery to fuse panel seems to engage the injectors and fuel pump and you can immediately turn key and it cranks and starts. I’ve started this truck multiple times now over the past couple of weeks with this method, with the key, by literally disconnecting and reconnecting the battery terminal power until the injectors engage, then key turns and fires up. Truck can stay on with gas applied to pedal and keeping engine revved, but loses power thereafter and shuts off. No diagnostic codes detected with use of last scan tool. FUSE PANEL is good, FUSES AND RELAYS checked and good, ECM is good, NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH is good, IGNITION SWITCH is good, BATTERY is good (new terminals), 12v CABLES ALL SEEM GOOD, Most wiring has been inspected and cleaned, most if not all grounds are checks and cleaned, STARTER Works, FUEL PUMP working. ***PCM possibly the culprit, however because we can start the engine with the keys by using the technique described above. However at this point I’m suspecting it has to be some sort of comms issue between the ignition, the Body Control Module and the PCM, and we “shock” the system by disconnecting and reconnecting the main power at just the right moment and are able to start with the key in that instance, but not as normal. Unfortunately, I feel like this is a bit out of my wheelhouse at the moment, as I am not a mechanic nor have ever seen a problem quite like this. Is it a matter of getting access to a computer and trying to re-code the keys or PCM? can the keys be re-coded without a computer? I'm just not sure of what steps to take next. WHAT IS PREVENTING THE TRUCK FROM STARTING WITH THE KEYS, BUT NOT WHEN ALL THE CONNECTIONS ARE MADE TIGHT? I’m offering $500 to anybody who can perform an exorcism and successfully diagnose and start my truck with the keys, reliably. This truck ran smoothly, then it stopped starting, then the dealership got it started after 3 months of sitting, only to drive it for a single day, park it for the night, and have it stop working the next day. If somebody is handy with truck repair or electrical issues, or has some experience and think they may be able to get it going I will buy or provide any necessary parts, consumables, and beer. Thanks, community, for any insight or advice.

Any after stories with failed lifters?
Fowler replied to SilverMak's topic in Troubleshooting, Warranty & Recalls
Hey so Iam in canada and I have 2019 at4 5.3 Iam at 107000 km I was driving with my family otw for holidays when about 400km away from home I went to pass someone going up a small hill I kinda lost power and got a esc light stability light electronic park break light ect and I got this loud ticking noise when the engine was under load but when I used it in manual and picked the gear and not force it the ticking/tppingnoise kinda disappeared unless i forced it so i Went to a garage they done some test I was deff I was miss firing on cyl 4 so they said could be a coil switched 2 around but said it wasn't that mbut maybe the plugs so they changed all them but same issuse said that was best they could do. So we left for the closest dealer 350 km away and dropped it there so idk maybe it's not the lifters maybe a injector or maybe something else idk. Also don't know if my extended warrenty is going to cover it I got the cheapest one so idk what that even brings me too ill have to call and check but hopefully not the lifters -
No it's a factory camera system. First thing we did was change the camera but that didn't fix it and I checked the wiring seems OK but cannot find anything labeled as fuse
