  1. Yes you are right the only way is to put a ton of money , but i think its worth it lol. I went with the s&b because it looks nicer imo than the banks and because the banks you have to take out the box to replace the filter , on the s&b you dont , its all personal preference, but idk if they are getting better numbers
  2. Also theres only one tuner that I know of right now and thats Motor ops , if the EPA bust them then you are f*ck if you have any tuning isssues , thats what happened to PPEI
  3. We are just going to have to delete it then lol
  4. Just installed an S&B cold air intake #75-5103D with the (white) Dry extendable filter. Got it on amazon for 399$ same price as the S&B website , but shipping took 2 days with prime , S&B wanted 40$ to ship it standard. Installation was easy , and it looks really nice under the hood in my opinion, but better yet I can definitely hear the turbo whistle even more than stock. I still have the DPF and the catalytic behind the turbo so its not a nice full flowing whistle , but its loud enough to make me smile lol. Just wanted to create this thread for those with a Duramax (L5P) that were wondering on this CAI. I recommend It, I know is pricey , but most mods to these truck are. LMK if you have any questions ??
  5. Love the lift , spent the money bought the RC shocks. Hate the shocks going back to factory with the Ranchos and blocks. Besides thats awesome lift for the money
  6. I love the look of my truck dont get me wrong , but driving down the road and seeing the same truck in a 5 or 6 in lift running 35s looks so bad ass . I’ll make the decision when my tires get worn in the next 5 years lol and see if i would go taller and just slap some 35s as well. Also i put back the ORM rancho shocks in the rear , rides little better in the back. You have a really good setup with those shocks too. I just checked my cv boot looks good as new ??
  7. Im happy with my lift honestly , the only regret i have is nor going with a taller lift kit ?
  8. Damn that cv angles looks way better than mine , so you diff clears the cross member? Does are 5100 on the front?
  9. Nice man!! We need some pics , you got the bilsteins for the rear? How does it ride? I want to get some foxs 2.0 performance series shocks 980-24-664 , they are only 0.300 in smaller than the Rough Country ones i have so i might give it a try
  10. Congrats man enjoy your ride ??
  11. Yea it came with the kit
  12. So far its holding up good , i like the look and the ride quality and i was able to fit 33s so im happy so far
  13. Yea it did , im going to monitor the cv and see how much it holds
  14. Ok i’ll look for some spacers for the diff drop thank you
  15. Damn haha , well i already bit the bullet. I’ll see how long it holds. If its too much then im going to have to upgrade to a better kit like BDS or something that can correct cv angles as well as the ball joints. Thank you for your time I appreciate it
  16. So you went with a RC 5 inch lift after you were running into problems with the 3.5? The truck looks sexy as F**K by the way
  17. So i still might run into problems? Lol
  18. What issues did you have?

  20. Hello everyone, im creating this post because there was little information about this lift kit when i was looking around. I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and i wanted to lift it , but i didnt want to go that high. I eneded up deciding to go with the Rough Country 3.5 in Knuckle Lift kit with the N2.0 Front Shocks SKU :12132. The kit is around 600$ and its a 5-6 hour installation time. I know some guys dont like RC , and the other chevy kits didnt have many happy customers. This kit was relatively new and it came with knuckles which is suppose to fix the suspension angles that a level kit would ruin , and it did. I had a 2.5 Moto Fab level kit and the truck ran really hard and i didnt like the ball joint angles. Well I can say that im happy i went with this kit . The truck rides really good and looks great. I was able to fit Nitto RidgeGrapples 33x12.50 and XD series Buck 25 20x10 wheels. It rubs a little at full crank at the lower rear plastic trim. I’ll post pictures so you guys can see. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask i’ll answer them as soon as i can , i hope this post helps anyone decide what route to go with when deciding a lift kit.
