    I HAVE AN 05 EXT CAB 2500hd SILVERADO 6.0 gas 4x4 8 FT STAKE BODY BED. IM LOOKING FOR A RUST FREE TRUCK ( FRONT END AND EXT CAB, I HAVE A BED) THAT I CAN SWAP OVER THE. BED , ENGINE AND TRANS. IM IN PARAMUS NJ 07662. LMK IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING. THANK YOU

    as far as the 99 being a different generation with a more limited computer. thats what i want to know. when and what exact years did they become more advanced. 99 through? and then i read that 04 changed in 05 with knock sensors and stuff. also some of these trucks change mid year? thanks ed

    my brother has 99 2500 and hes never got any code for anything ever. hi mileage truck also

    thank you. so if i switched to an 02 or 01 is the same type of sensors and codes and emissions? im trying to simplify the state inspection process

    I I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD four-wheel-drive 6.0 gas engine automatic the engine has 70,000 miles and the trans is rebuilt. The truck has rust and I’ve given up. The truck has a knock sensor code and some other crap codes. MY QUESTION IS, do 01 02 03 HAVE LESS RESTRICTIONS ON THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT EMISSIONS , KNOCK SENSOR AND ALL THAT CRAP? IF I SEAP MY 05 ENGNE TO AN 03 WILL THERE BE AN ISSUE WITH CODES. The 05 seems to be throwing a code constantly. I have an 04 and an oh one that has no problems and passes New Jersey inspection without issue. Thank you Ed

    i have a 2005 silverado 2500 hd 6,0 ext cab 8 foot bed. i want to replace the entire exhaust from a 2004 silverado 2500 6,0 regular ext cab 6 foot bed its stainles steel can any one tell me what modifications will have to be done? im hoping its just lengthening the one pipe thank you ed
