Do the CarPlay maps show up on the Denali cluster with ios13? I read online that ios13 allows this to happen.

I was turning off the highway today in front of a school bus and my truck just shut off. Electronic Power steering obviously went off too, very lucky I didn’t crash. I quickly put truck in neutral while rolling and started it right up like nothing was wrong. There was a message that came up that said to roll window down and back up. Called the Dealership and the do not know what is wrong. This seems like a BIG BIG safety issue GM!!! So now I’m going to have to drive my truck to the dealership and hope that I am on my A game if it decides to shut off again. Truck is out of warranty unfortunately. Anyone else having this issue lately? 2014 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ engine shuts off while driving. GM you need to fix this problem before someone gets hurt from the issue.

@GTPprix I have 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ. I have already upgraded the HMI and usb. Still need the radio module. If I were to upgrade the cluster to a Denali cluster would I be able to view the map on the cluster while driving? That would be a cool option I think.

Yeah it is what it is. I was just curious if there was a way to get themes downloaded. I have reached out to th3magpi3 about programming a radio module so I can get Siri to work with CarPlay. Still nervous that I’m gonna mess up my XM radio subscription when I do this.

Has anyone found a solution to losing the themes when you replace the HMI 2.0 with the HMI 2.5? I did the upgrade last night and lost my themes option for the display.
