  1. Turned out to be a seized shift cable. Dealer said lower half wouldn't move at all. Good as new now with entire cable replaced.
  2. Mine won't go into low now either. Only 20k miles on mine. Dealer going to look at it Friday, if it makes it that far.
  3. Cable looks good as new and is still attached to transmission lever.
  4. My 2017 Silverado recently is having a stiff transmission shift lever. It shifts out of park just fine but is very stiff going from neutral to drive and drive to low and vice versa. Haven't had any service on this truck since new other than oil changes and tire rotations. The stiffness seems to be getting worse every day. Any thoughts on what the problem might be.
