Ya those Navs have had issues and ya we pay a ton but if you do the install properly and work the kinks out yourself as well as with the company it’s audio bliss at the end!! I enjoy it and would recommend it if someone is looking for the best quality out of your system. My negatives are the system off pops. There has to be a way to fix that. As well as the delay from door open to turning all the units involved in the system to the chimes turning on. Well that one is more of an annoyance cause I know they should be chiming immediately but there are too many things turning on for it to be instantaneous. Positives and negatives to everything whomever is looking just weight them both out and take your bet. For me it’s absolutely the NavTV. I used both methods btw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bought my nav last year and yes it was crap. Absolutely annoying, couldn’t handle it. I spend 4+ hrs in my truck a day and it was a pain. Since about 2 months ago they sent me out a new one and I have had maybe 4 times where I had issues. This time I can just park the truck and when I turn it back on it’s working. Last time it would keep my amps on and kill my battery. So yes that was really bad. What they have now is worth the annoyance of a few issues rather than crappy music. It’s just worth it in my opinion to get the clean Audio from the head unit so you can do what your trying to do. Yes a better option may come around but at this moment the nav is worth it. The idea here is you want a clean signal to go to the amps. The Bose amplifier really messes with the output. You can buy/get made separate adapters for the amp but if your buying this your looking to add amps. I’m super excited to get this unit and hoping for a Black Friday deal to pick this up. I’m going to use toslimk to a minidsp. Going to be amazing!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry for the massive delay here. Yes I was concerned and it came to fruition. There is way too much equalizing and whatever else they do in that Bose DSP to get a clean signal. The only saving grace was using Dirac live to tune it but it’s still not good enough. I’m going to purchase the nav-tv which totally removes the Bose amp which I am extremely excited to use. Hoping for a Black Friday deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Like you it was in my cart for over a week before I pulled the trigger. I’m running an active focal flax 3 way with the Mmats 6150 and I am grossly over powering what I have but I have no regrets. The amp has a ton of power, the woofers pound with this thing and the gains are barely touched when I tuned them so there is a lot left in it. It runs with almost zero heat coming off of it after hours of garage tuning. It’s big bold and no corners cut on quality of connections. The negative is the fan that helps keep it cool is a touch loud if you are leaving it in the open which I am not. What sold me on it is try and find one for Re sale!!!! There is none which tells me everything and bought one myself. Now I have a dream to have another to match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya at first I thought good things but after waiting 24 days after spending 1500 bucks I’ve moved on. It’s no way to run a business and I cannot support this kind of behaviour. I have PayPal and Amex working on this for me now. Lol yay!!! I hoped for good things. Talked to that john guy and he made and sent me a harness in less than a week... answered all my questions and was very professional about it. That I can support!! I sound deadened my entire truck!!! Even the headliner. Lol waaaay overboard. So I guess since you don’t have Bose you should have a better signal to process thru the DSP I am really worried about what my oem Bose amp is going to do the signal. Super exciting and really want to keep going here. If it wasn’t for that guy in a garage being shady. Why did you get the line out converter when the DSP in the amp does that exact same thing and it’ll give you the sub out?
