  1. X2 I'm super interested in this as well!
  2. Hey thanks man, also I saw somewhere your engine vanity cover job. The white painted cover you got. Love that, and it's actually on my list, just another non fuctional. But fun one. Cheers!
  3. In Texas? I wish I lived in Texas or ya know, one of those cheaper states. Colorado is the worst anymore. Honestly
  4. Lol I was about to say... I have never had a good experience with dorman after 5 minutes of installing them. For everybody interested in the keys I'll get back to you today on programming cost. Its 630am MT and I just got to work. Also, colorado for who asked what state.I cant at mention you, thanks Tapatalk app [emoji854] Its 2.9% for CO, then .5 for Jefferson county, and then the city of registration, which would be Golden or Denver. I'll know when I get taken to the cleaners by my local govt on 11-1. From what I've heard its 7%, so 32,000 x .07 = 2,240$ This is for Taxes, Title and registration. Not to mention the fee I paid to have it weighed. Colorado required out of state titles to have weight for light trucks or something. [emoji2936][emoji108] if you get what I mean...
  5. Yeah I might be WAAAAY off on it and it be next to nothing but I'm preparing for this to rip me a new ass. But I'll have to post up about that too. Tax, title and registration for CO from what i hear is no joke anymore (insert please stop moving to colorado argument here) [emoji23]
  6. I havent gotten it programmed yet, but I'll get some quotes and get back to you
  7. I just gotta shell out the 2300$ in registration and I'm hitting you up!
  8. Oh wow that throws a wrench in the mix I never had that problem with any screen protector. Thanks for posting letting everyone know! Sorry it wasnt as smooth as I made it sound Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks@Hobey! I tried to do what I could, I forgot to post links the first time and the thread reminded me. I think my favorite part is the leather manual pouch and LED reverse lights. Solid here and there things for 20 bucks or less each. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  10. To stand by the sword i might have just stabbed myself with, I was the one who brought up Mobil1, but i see we are already there in the 45 minutes I've been gone. I think a lot of it is that we are all quoting quotes of quotes... might need to end this before we have 10 more pages for the people who randomly hit this page 3 years from now... In any case I'm at my PC and ill get on all those links from and add them to my original post.
  11. i'll have to check that one out for sure! I havent seen everything he's posted, but i like that he does these random ass tests so i can figure out the best duct tape for whatever I'm 'fixing'. lol for sure. Mad that the P.O bought 200 dollar ebay tails when he had LTZ tails from factory and those sell for 650 or so a set minimum. (My assumption was that he did it for the extra couple bucks. might have to see if anyone wants to trade, since some people really dig those things.
  12. Well if anyone is interested I use Mobil 1 lol [emoji6] also, I've been watching videos of a guy named project farm on YT who tested all 5W30 oils and amazon basics had pretty good results amongst 20 or so others... Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  13. Oh I ran into those when I was on jeepforum just looking up if i should have a catch can on my 4.7l.... turned into a huge debate with no data to backup either side and I just said 'well, it's free to not have one, so I'll do that.' But I agree with the both of you, everyone here has been very calming to speak with and it's not crazy, so I'm already quite comfortable. I'm glad I kinda got the first few posts out of the way, I had a JF account for 3 years posted 5 times... Pretty soon on here I'll break that 50 mark to hit up the FS/WTB threads. Stoked because@Frankielozano214 seems to be posting good a plethora of LTZ/HC parts. Speaking of which I might be hitting you up for your deal on those LTZ Taillights. Mine 16 CCSB came with some cheap ebay pair and I love the OEM ones much more. (I would really love to have 16+ denali tails but I know already they dont fit.) Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  14. Lmao and actually I havent noticed a whole lot of glare. I think the angle of it (being up and down, not slanted) is part of it, but I've never been blinded by it or couldnt read what was on the screen with my seating position. I've noticed I can see the center of the passenger seat in the reflection as I'm looking at it now, but other than that the screen is always on high brightness so I never have trouble seeing anything. Truth be told I did these handful of mods a couple weeks ago, but I'm a little forum shy, so I was just trying to feel the threads out. Everybody on here seems super relaxed and cool but it's just a new place to post, so I try to be useful and not post unnecessarily. Heres 2 pics, 1 of my typical view, and the second, if you look at the reflection, you can see the Mickey's bag in my passenger seat and the seatback stitching. But that's about all. Ive never have 'brights behind me in my mirrors at night' type of glare ever. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  15. Okay. Heres a few close ups and a larger shot for reference for all who are interested. Apologies for not having any reference photos in my O.P. I'll edit my O.P with links for everything. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  16. I'm off work at noon so I'll post more when I can. Sorry for now gents. Fitment is awesome. Small gaps at corners if done right. Great for possible future removal. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah, it shows the same amount of fingerprints that your phone would show, but the glass feel makes the whole experience nicer. I have an LTZ so having all the nice stitching and whatnot and then you feel that soft matte finish of the screen and it just feels like it doesnt belong, and this fixes that I think. Installation was easy as hell, I had no air bubbles first try, but just make sure to use all the wipes and alcohol pads and dust stickers to make it perfect first Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
  18. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07X7WDJFL/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here ya go! Sorry, I'll have to edit my OP to include links when I get into a PC. You can buy the cover with a red surrounding stripe on it too if you have a red and black accented theme on your truck If I might make a suggestion, the glass screen protector is an excellent upgrade as well. Just the feeling of glass rather than the matte plastic feels soooooo much more premium. Heres the link to that as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07GRS84PJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title&th=1 Apologies for the late reply!! Edit: who's gonna get the 19,000th post in this thread?
