  1. Don't hold your breath....I was one of the first to post on this thread and one of the first to have the intermediate shaft replaced. The problem has definitely returned and I don't think I've put 5k miles on the new shaft.
  2. As an update to my issue and having the intermediate shaft replaced back in June......I swear the noise is coming back again! ?
  3. I had this happen once on my 2020 HD AT4. Luckily it was in my garage, and I was able to put a charger on it for a couple of hours. After, it started right up. The CEL stayed on for a couple of days but hasn't been back on since. I have a feeling that it's something to do with the trailer electronics. I had just pulled my boat the day before and when I disconnected, the truck acted like it was still connected or trying to connect. Just a gut feeling......
  4. YES! I posted the video a few months ago of my clunking. If it''s the same issue as mine, the intermediate shaft needs to be replaced. Had mine done 2 weeks ago, and it fixed it. It was less than a 2 hour job as well. Your dealer should be aware of this fix. Good luck.
  5. sorry guys...left that part out.......yes the Rough Country kit
  6. Just did this.... 3+1 kit 20X9 0 offset wheels 35X12.50X20 Ridge Grapplers I get a slight rub when backing up with steering turned. It rubs the liner material inside the wheel well, but I think it can be easily fixed as the liner has some play and I should be able to somehow move it away a couple of inches.....I just need to investigate more to see how I would fasten it to keep it back to where the tire clears.
  7. Here's a video clip of the noise. Not sure how many of you drive on dirt washboard roads much, but I do somewhat often, and you can imagine how annoying this noise and the feeling that comes up through the steering. Several years back I had a new chevy with similar noises and feel. The service department told me to bring it in and they would grease the column periodically which seemed to help. I mentioned this to the current dealer and was told there is no way for that to happen as now they are engineered with sensors. Well, it's happening! IMG_0290.mov
  8. Yeah, I listened to one the other day and it was very anti-climatic. They need BOSE to offer an option.
  9. Just keeping this thread alive... I too have been researching leveling kits with wheels and tires. I just returned from a shop that told me they won't do a leveling kit on the 2020's as the ride suffers. Had another shop tell me that he's done a few now and the 3" + 1" is working great. Not sure of the brand of kit though. He had his personal Denali out front of the store showing if off and it looked really good with the 3+1. However, he said he went with 22" wheels and like -20 offset which rubs and he told me he would not do that to a customer. He's just willing to put up with the rub until the lift that he wants is available.
  10. My AT4 is making this exact "thumping" noise as well. I notice it more after driving and the truck warming up. So, those who are comparing to new trucks on the lot, I think you may need to drive them a few miles and then do the checking. I bet all of them thump eventually.......normal or not, I would like to know what it is.
  11. I'm having this or similar noise. It's only really noticeable on rough roads. I drive on dirt washboard road very often, an I swear I can feel the bumps up through the steering column. You can also hear some light clanking noises as well.
