    Thank you. So put original latch back on reconnect and remove green wire and newer harness that came with latch kit? and put original wire back in where it was pin 24.and then just take for programming at the dealer? Thanks so much for your help....

    Quick question. I just installed the hood latch kit for my 2017 Silverado. Just curious after you insert the new hood latch what gets plugged into the old 3 prong connector that was for the original hood latch. I have a code now out of computer. Is this fixed in the computer when the FOBS are programed or do I need to do something else? Thank you...

    Greetings. I am throwing a code now I am guessing cause there is nothing plugged into the plug that was from the original hood latch. Does something get done from the dealer when I get the remote start activated or do I need to do some thing with the old wires and plug? Attached is the error I pulled from the computer thank you!!!

    Greetings. Just wondering if it's normal for the check engine light to come on after installing my hood latch kit. I did have to remove the green brown wire from pin 24 to insert my green wire. Scheduled an appt to have remote start activated and fobs programmed in a couple days. Was just curious if the check engine light on is normal until I have it programmed? Thabks so much...
