In my case the dealership did a piss poor job by not only pushing the seal in when reinstalling the spoiler but not putting an even flow of sealer along with destroying my interior. I could have done a better job when I was 8 years old. Incompetence is the problem. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
This would be great but first they have to admit that there is a problem that can't be fixed. They won't even admit it!!! The other issue, since there is a TSB, they think that is the final fix. Then the dealership service departments are terrible. My truck is all damaged on the inside. I'm waiting for a phone call from "customer care". I emailed pictures of the damage along with pictures of the window still leaking after the 2nd time sealing it. If the headliner was not ruined initially, I would have fixed the leak myself or have a solid window installed. I for sure will not be returning to the same dealership, I'm looking at trading now somewhere else. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Yeah I know I was a Service manager at a dealership so I get it but GM is not much of a help either. I will regroup Monday with Customer Care. I'm trying to keep my cool because like I said this is ridiculous to even consider that seam sealer is the fix for this...GM should have had a good replacement window 2 years ago, this is unacceptable at this point. I hear you, this whole thing is a joke. I am disgusted with the dealer and GM. Brand new trucks are getting ruined by butterfingered mechanics and GM has no fix. I was told to take it one step at a time to get it fixed and that every vehicle is the different, when I brought up the history of this forum she dismissed it. Here we are with the same problems that everyone else has had without much help... Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
I wanted them to replace it at the beginning, I have been talking to Laura from the Executive Resolution Team, she talked to them twice about ordering a headliner but they ignore it along with not having listed on the work order. After seeing the work that they do, I don't really want them removing the windshield and trim just to destroy it all. Everything with this deal is a fight and like many other people we should not have to be dealing with this at all...
Just picked my 19 RST up from the 2nd sealer job, they were laughing that they "poked a hole" but could not explain where or what. They told me over the phone that the headliner was cleaned but still has a massive stain. I will try to get it clean myself. Now I will start the adventure of trying to trade it for a solid window. I need to clean the outside of the window because there is some sealer that spilled over but they can't see that apparently just like the headliner is "clean".
2019 RST Crew Cab sliding window leaking on both sides. Headliner is stained, the jack and seat brackets are rusted. The dealer performed the TSB farmer fix with seam sealer yesterday, I will pick it up tonight to see the damage... I am looking to trade it for a solid window 2021. There is no way that I can keep this truck without a true fix... I called GM 20 times until I talked to someone but it was no help, to get out of the vehicle even though this is a known issue without a fix, I am on my own is what they told me. I am absolutely disgusted with this whole deal.

My 19 Silverado 5.3 is at the dealer right now for this. Even during idle there is a squealing when slowing to a stop at a red light, starting and stopping the truck it also happens. The service engine light came on when this started happening. When I shut it off the is a noise seconds after with nothing moving.
