  1. Off-road day at hidden falls in Texas

  3. Kryptonite KRUCA13 (for stamped steel and aluminum UCA trucks) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Required? No. Will it wear out the ball joint faster? yes. In my case i replaced it because i preferred to not have the stamped steel UCA design when i take it off-road. plus these are bolt in ball joints which makes the replacement of them much easier when they do wear out. but in the end you can put 5100s without replacing a UCA to answer the question.
  5. clearance on liner at 3/4 turn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. with trim plate installed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Another side shot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Side picture 1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It’s a firm ride but not jarring. Rides a bit firmer than my dads ram 1500 with the carli fox kit but it feels less rough than the stock rancho garbage. definitely rides a little softer than my 2006 Tundra with the TRD suspension did as well (all being compared on i-35 in austin)
  10. Trim plates went well, looks like if i hadn’t done them i’d be trimming the liner. here’s a picture of the angles on the drivers side Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Quick picture after picking it up, will take more tomorrow: 6112’s and 5160’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ill be taking more pictures tomorrow but on the new suspension with 6112’s and kryptonite UCA’s up front and 5160s out back. (I know a lot of people don’t like all black wheels but it’s what i wanted) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I was planning on that originally but these tires run large for a 275/70r18 at 33.45x11.23. Plus i do plan on taking it offroad so just would rather remove any risk of rubbing at the same time as getting the rest done.
  14. Well after as much reading as i could do on this Thread I've got everything set up to go on this month on the 26th. Items are: -6112 kit for front -5160's rear -Kryptonite UCA's (KRUCA13) -Fuel Blitz 18x9 +1 offset -275/70r18 Kenda RT -1" Shackle for rear -Zone trim plates 2018 Silverado w/ 13k miles
  15. Just a sticker, black background that blended in to the packing foam
  16. Here’s my 2018 LT Z71, got it brand new as a close out. Had it for just over a year now, hopefully by the end of this month it won’t be sitting stock anymore.
  17. Have them sitting here waiting now, just waiting on my order from custom offsets for the wheel and tire set up. If all goes well i’ll have everything installed on the 25th this month.
  18. Maybe on the next one. I was just happy to be able to throw the cash down on a brand new truck a year ago. Living is expensive now days.
  19. Glad I could be of assistance! Looking forward to seeing the end product here, makes me wish i could throw a 7-9 on my truck but being 24 I need to make more conservative purchases...
  20. Well it looks like based on everything (including the pictures posted up by dieselfan1) I'll be pulling the trigger on ordering these. Now its just a waiting game for the rest of the parts to come in as well.
  21. I'll be using Bilstein 6112's set at the highest setting in the front, 5160's in the rear for suspension. Wheels and tires looking at 18x9 +1 offset fuel blitz with either Cooper ST Maxx's or nitto ridge grapplers in a 275/70r18 E1. Just trying to decide what UCA to use is the last piece of the puzzle. not a high lift more just setting it up for a better ride with some offroad usability.
  22. I've tried searching all over for some info on this but has anybody used the Kryptonite UCA's on a 17-18 1500? trying to find some feedback on it since it looks comparable to the cognito UCA's. If I somehow totally missed a thread on them then my bad. Just looking to finalize my parts list before i spend money on my suspension.
