  1. I have a 2011 sierra 1500. I’ve went through this reduced engine power thing for a whileeeee now, over 3 years. At first I’d get R.E.P. and stabilitrack errors. I’ll always be able to stop the truck for about five or 10 minutes and the error would go away and I could drive again. eventually, it went into reduced engine power mode, and it would not get out of it. I changed the throttlebody, the throttlebody pigtail, and that didn’t work. I finally ended up changing the accelerator pedal and that stopped the issue for about a year. Recently, it started doing it again, but I don’t have the stability track errors this time. And unlike last time where it would do it randomly if I was driving or parked idling, it only goes into reduced engine power mode when I’m stopped idling and it is hot outside. Doesn’t do it in the winter or fall, just the summer. It also doesn’t do it if I’m moving. It’s usually after about 7-10 min of idling. If this happens, I turn the truck off and wait 5-10 min and crank it and I’m good to go, although the engine light will be on until I park it overnight. any thoughts?? thanks for reading
