  1. I need some assistance with a current truck build. I am building a 49 Chevy COE on a 2001 GMC Savana 3500 Cutaway Van Chassis. my first challenge seems to be replacing the front spindles. The guy that owned this truck before me put raised spindles on it and I want to go stock or even lowered spindles. The GM parts websites say these spindles have been discontinued but, I'm told that lots of other GM truck spindles are the same as this one. I'm having no luck finding anywhere that this is stated. Does anyone know what other GM truck spindles will fit my GMC Savana 3500 front spindles? Greatly appreciate the help here.
  2. Forgot to include photo of rolling chassis.
  3. Figured it out. I have a short somewhere in my primary OBD port. Once I connected to the second port I added both the bluetooth device and my reader displayed the oil pressure reading. I added a second port to run the Bluetooth gauges and must have a bad connection somewhere on OBD one. Just need to take it a part and correct wiring issue. By the way - this 2017 L83 and 6l80 are setting on my 37 Roadster chassis. The truck was totaled and I purchase engine and tranny for transplant. Also has an LT4 Supercharger setting on top. It runs and is heading to Dyno in a couple of weeks.
  4. Guys, Should the OBDII produce an oil pressure reading on my 2017 L83 engine? I sure thought so but when I hook up to AutoMeter DashLink 2, I get no oil pressure reading. Does anyone have any ideas on how to confirm if it's the DashLink or if the 2017 E92 ECM does not pass this information to the OBDII. Would seem odd to me if it did not but I truly do not know. If you have any ideas or know of a decent code reader that does display oil pressure for this model of engine it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick
  5. I purchased the AutoMeter DashLink 2 to used an iPad as my dash. I have all gauges I need and more except oil pressure. Can't seem to figure out why I can't get it to display. Anybody have any idea? Thanks, Rick
  6. I have several parts off of my 2017 Gen V/L83 5.3L motor and 6l80 tranny for sale. Motor and tranny being used in 37 Ford Roadster. Motor and tranny had 3000 miles on it when removed. Tranny Pan Oil Pan Water Pump A/C Compressor L83 Accessory Drive Let me know if you're interested in anything. Thanks, Rick
  7. Hey Guys, I took the engine out of a wreck 2017 Silverado and transplanted into my 37 Ford Wild Rod project. I stuck the LT4 Supercharger on top of it and just got running. Sounds awesome. I'm also running AutoMeter DashLink II for gauges through OBD and my iPad Mini. Looks really cool and keeps the dash very clean. Where I'm having issues is with the fuel sending unit. I wired the sending unit through the ECM so I should be getting a reading of some sort. I may have chosen the wrong fuel sending unit (0-90 Ohms) but I don't know that. I've called several shops but no one seems to know what version of sending unit I should use. Appreciate any input you all might have. Thanks, Rick
