  1. Got almost 50k on the OEM BF's 275/60R20. Looking at going with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. They also have 285/55R20 and 305/50R20 that technically could fit on the 9" OEM SLT wheel. I am not lifted, has the x31 package if that makes any difference. Anyone used either of those bigger sizes? From what I was finding on the forum I think 285 would be ok but 305 may rub. Anyone tried those sizes without a lift? Thanks
  2. Did paint correction to remove the dealer installed swirls. Used the nanoskin clay mitt, then hit it with my DA and Meguiars 205 with a white pad. Had a few spots that needed 205 with a orange pad. Followed that up with collinite 845. My first time using it. I have been a Zaino user since 2004 and wanted to try something different. Goes on and off easily if you apply it thin. Think it turned out pretty good. Will see how it holds up.
  3. Since the dealership put swirls on it running it through the carwash I did paint correction on it. Nanoskin clay mitt, the used my DA with white pads and meguiars 205. Had a couple of spots had to use a orange pad and 105. Then for the final coat put on Collinite 845. First time I have used it. Goes on easy and comes off easy if you use a thin layer. Will see how it stands up.
  4. Yeah, I just don’t understand the matte black thing either. That was people that could not afford a real paint job back in the day.
  5. I am an old fart so I preferred the chrome on the GMC SLT
  6. If I'm lucky I might get to start driving her in March. We will see.
  7. got my $63k list for about $50k
  8. Picked up my new Sierra today and once it warms up the smell reminds me of a burning clutch. I figured there would be some burn off of coatings and such but not sure this is what that would smell like. It had 25 miles on it and put about 70 on today and can still smell it. Normal or something to get checked out? Thanks
