    All places note the 2011 does not fit a 2010 1500 Silverado 5.3 V8. Do you still use it?

    Was going to take your word and switch from the 1017 to the 2011 but all sites say it does not fit the 5.3 V8. w/ active fuel management.

    Okay, thank you. I have just under 81k on it and have had the oil pressure sensor and filter replaced. Truck did a lot of sitting at home while I was working from home during COVID so I'm not sure if that had an impact or not on anything. Hopefully I see better results with the K&N filter.

    What is normal oil pressure? At idle I sit at 20psi or even a little less, and while driving I'm at about 30psi. Oil was last changed about 2,700 miles ago w/ Pennzoil 5W-30 Full synthetic and Mobile 1 oil filter. Is this normal? What could be the problem? Next oil change I am going to use the K&N HP-1017 as I have read pretty good reviews on the filter.

    Thank you for the help. I have the LC9 engine. The engine light has gone off after about 50 miles on the new oil and oil filter. Do you have a suggestion on oil filter? Should I try the K&N next time I change everything?

    I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado 5.6 with 78k and have had the engine light come on multiple times and it reads the p0521 code. I had the engine oil pressure sensor changed. The light didn’t go off and I changed my oil and the light went off. It has now come on again about 4K miles later and the oil pressure is at about 38 when driving and around 20 when at a stop light. I changed the oil and filter with Pennzoil full synthetic oil and a Mobil 1 oil filter. I have driven the truck about 50 miles since and the light still remains on. Anyone else have a problem like this?
