  1. Side note that may be of interest- I put a set of 33x12.50 Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips on a set of 17x7.5 stock wheels (2008 GMC) back in the day and they lasted 15000 miles. Wheels were too narrow and wore out the center.
  2. Drop the drive shaft, support the transmission with a floor jack and wood block. Remove the transmission support/crossmember. Lower the jack until the engine oil pan just barely touches the front crossmember. Get about 3-4 feet of extensions between your socket and ratchet. You’ll have a clear view of it from behind the transfer case. It’s a 14mm nut.
