  1. Nice ride....are the mirrors after market or stock with your purchase?
  2. Yeah I would agree, GM in no way will take responsibility for any of the dealer upgrades. Long story short, this Chevrolet dealer has been selling these trail boss suspension packages with level kits long before I showed up so at least I'm not the test monkey. Luckily for me and my application I very seldom run 4H or 4L. Living in South Mississippi we dont have to deal with snow and honestly these damn trucks are too damn expensive to off-road. At least in my opinion. As far as the tire/wheel weight. I really dont know the difference as compared to stock. What I do know is I've run trail grapplers before and they are a very heavy tire. I would also imagine the 22 inch stock wheels weigh about the same as boat anchors. However, this truck with its suspension upgrades and tire/wheel combination, rides extremely softer/smoother than my recent 2017 GMC Sierra Denali with leveled suspension and 33 inch Toyos and 22 inch stock wheels. Not sure if it's because of the Rancho coil/overs or what but my 2020 is night and day as compared to my previous Denali.
  3. I would agree the CV axle angles are not ideal however, all work was performed by the Chevrolet dealer. Its something I'm going to watch very closely and if i start experiencing issues you can rest assured they will be making repairs at no cost to me...
  4. I got a 2020 RST Z71 with a trail boss suspension. The truck came from the dealer with 35x12.5x22 and an OEM +28 wheel...The GM dealer installed a 2" level kit to eliminate the rub on the upper control arms. Although there is minimal rub on the mud flaps it did eliminate the rub on the UCA's....I too were concerned about my CV Axles, however everything on my truck is dealer/factory installed so it want cost me anything if things go south. So far no issues but i haven't utilized 4H or 4L since the level kit so that will happen today to see what happens.
  5. Yes 4 inch front 2 inch rear. No poke
  6. 2020 RST Z71 with a Trail Boss 2" stock suspension. Added a 2" dealer/factory level kit. OEM 22" wheels (+28 offset) on 35x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers. No trimming with very minimal rub on mud flaps.
  7. Thanks guys. I do appreciate everyone's advice. I definitely looked into adding spacers however, I decided to call the dealer and I told them to fix the rubbing issue at no cost to me. They installed the 2 inch level and it fully eliminated the rubbing issue on the UCA...I still have very minimal rub on the mud flaps but that's an easy fix. I guess 35x12.5s will work on stock 22" wheels with less than a 6inch lift. I feel much better now than a week ago..lol thanks guys...
  8. 2020 RST Z71 with a Trail Boss 2" Rancho suspension with a 2" level kit. OEM 22" wheels (+28 offset) on 35x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers. No trimming with very minimal rub on mud flaps. 5% tint on rear windows and two back seat windows, 15% on two front seat windows and 50% on windshield. Muffler delete but kept the resonators. Great Sound. Love this this truck..
  9. Guys...need some info please. I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado RST Z71. The dealer installed the 2.5 inch Trail Boss lift along with 35x12.5x22 tires. The wheels are OEM with a +28 offset. As you can imagine there is some rubbing. Initially I thought the rubbing was from the inner wheel well liners but it turns out to be the upper control arms. Now, I've contacted the dealer Service Manger and he thinks the fix would be adding a 1.5 to 2 inch level kit above the already 2.5 inch suspension lift that's on there. The truck sits with a rake so adding the level would fix that but will it fix the upper arm rubbing issue. Appreciate any info. This is the first truck that I've ever owned with anything higher than a level kit. Any info would be appreciated.
