This is good info, I made a video of changing my fluid and filter. I did reuse my gasket and have about 15000 miles on it with no leaks and it fixed my shuddering issue. https://youtu.be/a1pN6Hisdno
I got tired of needing to hold the funnels upright while I pour a 5 quart jug of oil into the engine so I made a custom funnel for my 2016 Sierra with the 5.3L engine so it will perfectly fit the hole and stay upright without needing to hold it. Below is a video of how it works and what it looks like along with the link to the files so you can download and print yourself one if you are interested. Link to files needed to 3d print your own. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4898079
The 3d modeling software is Fusion 360 and the slicer I use is cura. Chris
I didn't care for the wheels that came on my 2016 Sierra and I happen to find a guy on craigslist that had bought a 2020 Sierra and had the dealer install a 6 in lift and new set of wheels, his wheels and tires had never left the dealer lot so I bought them and installed them on my 2016 Sierra. Not only did I get a nice set of wheels but I also wanted 33" tires and that is what comes on the 4X4 Sierra. The only thing I had to do was install a new set of TPMS sensors because GM switched to the 433MHz sensors in 2019.
How funny, I just posted a video on youtube explaining this. I see many people wondering how a 1" thick spacer can give a 2" lift. Once you see it you will kick yourself for not realizing how easy the concept is. How can a 1" spacer give a 2" lift.
You could spray paint them black if you wanted.
June : PM me and I will get a set sent out. If you pay using pay-pal check the friends and family option otherwise pay-pal takes $1.03.off the top. Thank you Chris
Padded envelopes arrived today, anyone interested message me and I will start shipping. To keep it as organized as possible so I can keep track of who is who, I don't want to except payment unless I have a set ready to ship. Total will be $25.00 and I am set up to take Zelle, Paypal, and Venmo. Make sure your address is correct because I will simply copy and paste the address you give me.
Yes I am, I am waiting on some padded envelopes to arrive and I will start shipping them.
Update on the vent deflectors, My printer has been running almost non stop for 5 days and I have 13 sets printed and am waiting on some padded envelopes to mail these in. If you want a set PM me and I will message you when I am ready to start mailing. Total price including shipping will be $25.00, I hope that sounds fair. Just a quick note, I shortened the deflectors about 1/2in because it shaved almost 4 hours off the print time, They work the same as the original design so be aware of that slight difference between the original and the product I will be printing for shipment. I attached a picture of the difference The file I have uploaded will remain the same so if you download and print your own it will be slightly deeper. Too the guys talking about getting a printer. I have the Ender 3 Pro and it holds its own to much more expensive printers, The nice thing is it is very inexpensive and has tons of support from not only the manufacturer but the online community as well. Trust me you will not be disappointed in this printer. Here is a link to the Ender 3 Pro Here is the regular Ender 3
I used PLA and they work fine.
I appreciate all the complements, Thank you. One problem with getting things patented anymore is as soon as you do the Chinese monitor the US patents on a daily basis and as soon as they see something pop up that they think will be a hot seller they start copying it way cheaper than anyone over here. Then you are out thousands of dollars you spent getting it patented. As far as me printing them, it takes about 5 or 6 hours each and I only have one printer but I will order another spool of black filament and start printing some for the ones that want a set. I will to do it for $25.00 a set. If anyone else wants to download the files, print and sell them I don't care as long as you don't charge over $25.00.
Hi Guys, I have noticed that a lot of the vents or air ducts under the seats of these trucks are covered or partially covered with carpet. Because of that I modeled up some adapters that you can print on a 3d printer and slide on the vents/ducts under the seats so the air is deflected upward and they keep the carpet from covering the vents. I made a video showing how they work and I put the link too the 3d printer files in the description so you can download and print your own. Video showing how the vent deflectors work and the files needed to print your own
So my 2016 Sierra Z71 has provisions for dual batteries which of course I do not have so I was trying to find a box of some type to bolt down to the battery tray to serve as extra storage. Have any of you done this and if so can you show your ideas.
