Just had the same issue today for the first time. 2020 LTZ 1500 with 7500 miles, Started the truck and the radio came on but the screen was black, tried restarting the truck and the screen remained black and the radio stopped working. Drove for about 15 minutes and both came back on.

There are four different styles of fuses that our trucks use, that appears to be one of them.

Had it done to my last truck, worked well but it did fade with time, going from black to a greyish black color. May want to think about a contrasting color due to this, mine was red with black rockers.. Also unless they do a good job scuffing the paint beforehand it may start to peel off on the bottom, however that didn't start to happen for eight years. Also I drove the truck for ten years in a area where heavy salt is used (Nebraska) and did not have any rust issues with the truck, I did make a point of spraying off the underside after every snow storm though. This time round I went with the clear paint protecting film, not enough time to be able to say how well it works yet. John K

These are my 2nd set of undercover swing cases, I had a set on the truck I traded in. They lasted 8 years without any issues. They are not as rugged as the side boxes that bolt in and are stationary, but they hold up well as long as they are not overloaded with heavy items. John K

I thought about them, but since I didn't know if they would work with the folding bed cover so I went with the Mega Box and the Swing Out Tool Boxes which I knew would work under the cover. The mega box folds up into the space under the front of the folding bed cover and the swing out tool boxes remove by swinging them out and lifting up so if I need it, I have almost all of the bed. I did not expect to see the MPG numbers that are being posted for the 6.2. I have a 5.3, Crew Cab Short Bed, LTZ, with Z-71 and highway driving 70 I get around 23 MPG. In the city I have been getting around 19 MPG. The best 50 mile results were 30.1 but that was perfect conditions and don't see anywhere near that normally. John K

They have a 28.3 gallon tank for the 1500's, it is only available in the Regular Cab with the 8 foot bed. Don't now if it will fit in any of the others. John K
