  1. Any new info on the AC strange noises? I’m trying to accept that it’s normal noises but I’m having a hard time lol.. as for the brakes, they found an update and calibrated it (via computer) and haven’t felt the vibration or sound since.. I wonder if there’s just a noisy AC compressor that they began using or different fan or something? Seems like I haven’t read any similar issues other than 2019 or 2020 ?? The dealership said it was normal AC noise again.. ?? I dunno
  2. That’s good info, seems like they could replace that and likely it would fix the issue .. it’s in the shop as we speak getting worked on hopefully. I recorded and showed them the noise..I’ll keep you Guys posted on the outcome. I’m hoping they figure it out.. the pedal feeling and noise is coming straight from behind the pedal so based on your placement knowledge, would make sense if it’s defective or failed
  3. O really ?? That’s crazy!! I’m waiting for the manager to call me. I sent them a video of it happening (they said they didn’t see or hear anything).. I’m like.. no, there’s a problem, and you need to fix it.. said they would call back likely tomorrow. Interesting that we have the same issues.. I’ve heard ABS issues might be it or vacuum based on an auto guy not GmC.. I’m hoping they fix it like tomorrow. It’s annoying. Are you taking yours in ? They said it’s new to them. I googled it and they did a massive recall a couple years ago for abs and break issues.. I wish I would have known that before. But I would assume based on that alone, they should be working diligently to get it handled. Wish I could send you the video of mine. It won’t let me upload it
  4. I have a strange whistle noise but it’s only when the AC compressor is on. High pitch, just enough to be noticeable in my opinion. People in my truck don’t notice but once you hear it, can’t not hear it. Service told me it was normal and I did hear it in all there truck. I thought it was just a loud ac compressor/bad insulation/belt. I also have brake issues. I have a strange vibration on the brake pedal when applying very slight pressure. It’s like a tingy/knocking on at a certain sweet spot of pressure. Service said they couldn’t find the issue last Friday. I picked up the truck and drove it home and i could immediately find the spot again. Called them just now and sent them the video, awaiting a call back.. i have 600miles on my 2020 SLT
  5. Spanking new 2020 SLT. At low and higher speed. When I feather the brake pedal, coming to a slow/stop, I can feel the pedal quickly vibrating on my foot. It’s only happened a few times in the last week or so and it’s very hard to recreate. When I can get it to do it, if I hold it steady on that sweet spot where it started, it’ll vibrate for a few seconds but as soon as pressure let’s off or goes harder, it goes away and I can get it to do it again immediately after. It’s strange. And I also have a noisy AC compressor. It’s like a whirling sound. If the fan is on and compressor is off, I don’t hear it. Then the compressor kicks on and it’s whirling again. I’ve got into two same trucks. 1 did the same, 1 was much quieter and hardly noticeable at all. I’ve messed with the vents, speeds, everything but it’s only when the compressor is on. Maybe GMC newer trucks make this sound and it’s a design issue ? I don’t know, it’s my first GmC truck. Nice truck but wtf over. I have an appointment in a couple weeks but still. Any ideas where they could start ? update: went for a drive around town. I can feel the vibration / hear is chattering slowing from 40 mph to around 35. Barely any pressure on the brake pedal. Will chatter in the sweet spot for a few seconds. If steady pressure is put coming from any speed or 40, no issue and no chatter.. I don’t freaking get it.
  6. Yeah, so, I’m assuming at this point that it’s normal. I jumped into another’s guys truck that was the same (other than his was AT4). He didn’t notice the sound until I pointed it out lol so Apparently it’s normal for this truck / style etc. it’s good to know I’m not the only one. I’m just trying to accept it and not let it bother me too much. In reality, I have my music on 99% of the time so if it’s a design flaw, it’s whatever. I’ll prob cancel my appointment and just bring it up during an oil change or something. Now knowing that I’m not the only one, I feel much better. Seems like we’re all just living with it lol let me know if there’s a solution though
  7. I bought a 2020 Sierra SLT with close to no miles on it. Drove for about 5 days now and noticed a strange sound when the AC is on. Typical noise when the fan is on without AC. Then turn the AC on, I hear the compressor kick, cold air comes, and I hear a slight whining sound. Almost like when your turning an older car with power steering. It increases and decreases with accelerating RPM even when in park. Not ticking, clunking, just like a high pitch whining. A couple people sat in the truck and confirm hearing it but they are telling me that it sounds “normal”. I’m coming from a 2015 F150 which had no sound when the AC was running. I can only hear this strange sound when it’s on the lowest possible setting with the ac compressor running. I set an appointment for next week and it’s obviously covered under warranty but am I crazy? Is it supposed to sound Like that? Do GMC’s have more cabin noise than Ford? I feel like I just spent $60k on a truck and expect it to be quiet.. anyone notice the same with the newer GMC trucks? Any issues similar..
